Georgalas Sun Beach Resort

The location was very nice, right next to the sea, the staff was nice, the food was good and the rooms were clean.

There was no market in walking distance and the area around the hotel(streets etc.) was not lit up at night.

Definitely the value of this property is the beachfront location and the staff. If you have the opportunity, I suggest staying in the newly updated building, not the old one. I also liked the landscaped garden with a lot of outdoor seating options, loungers, sectionals, swings etc. it was well lit up at night.

I did not like that it’s a little remote - nearest store 1.3 miles away. We did not have a car. I did not like the old part of the property that needs to be redecorated since it looks very outdated, like from the 80s some of the elements (tiles, woodwork etc). Probably the worst thing about the old building (I believe they call it the villa) is the fact that there are no mosquito nets. We had about 10 mosquitoes to get rid of every night. The buzzing around our heads was unbearable. The new building has mosquito nets.

Everything was great - clean, large and comfortable rooms with a great sea view; staff was extremely helpful and friendly; the breakfast was rich and delicious; location is perfect for a quiet vacation and it's 5-10 mins away by car to the closest village. The beach was sandy, clean and perfect for relaxing or swimming in the sea. We loved the place and will definitely come back :)

I was with familly 4days in this resort.Everything was perfect.The staff was excellent.Room was big and very clean with beautiful seaview.We wil visit this place again for sure.

Excellent breakfast and a view to die for. The location is ideal to reach scenic places in Halkidiki and it is well connected to main roads in the area. Staff were all very nice to us.

The shower cubicle was small and had no door so everytime we washed we ended up with water flooding in the bathroom. We had to prevent this by putting in towels on the floor to stop it. Room could have definitely been designed better.

The hotel has a private beach in front of the sea. The territory looks very lovely and clean. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Breakfast is delicious. One of the best hotel experiences I had :)

*Highly Recommended!*Georgalas Place is a perfect spot for both couples and families. Pionitis and the staff were wonderful and ensured that everything is always perfect and comfortable for us. The entire place is incredibly clean, and it's clear that a lot of thought has gone into every detail – from the beautiful landscaping and gardening, to the restaurant design, the large and decorated rooms, as well as the atmosphere and food.The team helped us with phone calls for different attractions and gave us excellent recommendations based on our preferences. They also guided us on places to visit and where it might be better to skip. They greeted us warmly even when we arrived very late due to our flight delay. The dining room is beautifully designed, the waiters are very friendly, and the food is diverse and delicious. The risotto is a must-try – don’t miss it!The resort is right on the beach, and you can hear the waves from the balcony of your room. On a clear day, you can even see Mount Olympus in the distance.The photos on the website are completely accurate, and the location is ideal: just a 30-minute drive from Thessaloniki, but also close to quieter, peaceful beaches.We came at the end of the winter, so most places were closed and it was still too cold to go into the sea, but we really enjoyed the peace and tranquility. In the summer, it's much busier here.I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway, whether it's for a couple or a family.

A really good experience, the room, the breakfast and the location. We only had one night there but would recommend it for a longer stay. The sand beach is beautiful.

The staff were very friendly, Vasilis and Vilademir, especially. Parking is very easy. Very nice beach and garden. The hotel is directly at the beach. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. We plan to stay again during summer season.

The room was a little small but we did not spend much time in the room, we preferred to walk and sit in the nature.

The location is great, less than 1 minute to the beach. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty, with delicious bread. The restaurant was nice, I had dinner there every day of the week and it was always tasty. Location was good.. took a transfer from the airport (25 mins). Sunbeds and parasol are included, so no charge for that. Last but not least, the staff were very friendly and kind!

Not a big deal, but the bathroom cleaning could be more thorough: there were some unidentified stains on the walls from the previous guests, possibly innocent enough but nevertheless should have been removed by housekeeping.

Excellent customer service, perfect location, room with a sea view, everything in the room was working well. Comfortable mattress. Quiet.

Excellent restaurant. Breakfast included was fantastic. The beach is near and it is not too crowded.

Early in the morning, it can be a little noisy. If a room is close to the kitchen or boiler room, it can be hotter in the hall.

Everything was perfect. The location for family and for small children is ideal, because the beach is in front of the hotel. The beach is with sand and small rock which is giving clean and very beautiful water. Also, you have for free sunbeds and umbrella. The hotel has a restaurant which has good food, the breakfast was nice and everything was delicious. All the employee were very pleasant and polite, they were all the time with smile all the time and ready to help you. The hotel is near to the town Nea Kalikratia, but you need transport to go there. With one word, everything was perfect, good choice for me and my family.We hope that will visit again.

This resort is perfect getaway...very peacefull, beachfront with excellent breakfast and more than a friendly staff. The room and the yard were spotless clean. The yard infront of the apartment was amazing.

No windows in our room, it was little bit dark....and no mosquito net on the door, so the room was stuffy.

Most of the staff was outstanding!! Very helpful, friendly, and kind. One staff member in particular was the only problem. The front desk staff was exceptional and the servers in the restaurant ( with one exception - see below) were outstanding.

The very large male waiter in the restaurant was not attentive or pleasant in any way. He basically ignored our table for two throughout the entire dinner. We had to involve other staff members to get anything served. He basically sat in the corner and played on his phone and smoked. Very unprofessional.

The staff were interested. We had a nice and quiet holiday. Thank you very much for everything. Since we had our own car, we had no difficulty in transportation, but it is not very central, it is a small area. We liked the restaurant very much. We hope we will come again.

Water from the shower overflows into the bathroom entrance, this can be prevented. There was no problem other than that.

Excellent location for the beach and great sea view from balcony. Breakfast was very good apart from the coffee which was standard machine produced fare. Vladimir (Reception) gave us a warm welcome and was most helpful.

One of the waiters who served us at dinner could have been friendlier.

The location of the property was beach front with chairs and umbrella included with the room. The beach had waitress service for food and drinks at very reasonable prices. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. They have a huge manicured garden area that has full drink and food service if wanted not a requirement to lounge. This area was constantly being utilized for social gatherings with family’s and friends. The atmosphere was great as well as the ambient lighting. We ate at a variety of establishments on our 8 day stay but the food at the resort was better than most. No need to eat elsewhere this place is highly recommended.
