The worst part was the strong sewage smell – we couldn't even open the window in the room or sit on the balcony.

The staff were exceptional—always attentive, helpful, and eager to answer any questions.The private beach was immaculate and offered a wide selection of food and beverages to suit all preferences.Breakfast, which was included in our stay, was both delicious and plentiful, with staff consistently ensuring that every need was met.Our room was spotless, featuring a spacious balcony and a well-equipped bathroom stocked with all essential toiletries.The Junior Suite with Sea View provided breathtaking scenery; each sunrise offered a truly unforgettable view.We found no need to visit other beaches, as the hotel’s private beach offered everything we could have wished for and more.A highlight of our stay was the Greek night, complete with live music, traditional dances, and a blend of both Greek and international songs, creating a lively and authentic atmosphere.Parking facilities were excellent, with ample space available both in the hotel’s private lot and in an additional lot located just behind it.

We stayed for five days and noticed that the pool did not appear to be cleaned during our visit, as the bottom had a slight greenish tint. However, this was compensated by the exceptionally clean private beach, which quickly became our preferred spot.On one occasion, housekeeping entered our room despite the “Do Not Disturb” sign being displayed on the door. Nevertheless, it seemed to be an honest mistake, as they immediately apologized and the matter was resolved without issue.A greater variety of music on the beach would be appreciated, as the selection consisted exclusively of calm jazz throughout our stay.The bathroom, while well maintained, was rather compact—suitable for one person at a time but not spacious enough for two.

There is nothing I didn't like

It is a nice looking hotel, right across the street from the beach. The staff was very friendly. Parking is available around the hotel, the view from our room vas very nice.

The rooms are partially renovated. The bathroom was pretty small (the toilet was between a wall and the shower cabin with little space to each side) and it had poor lighting (3 spots out of which one was blue and another one was half-working). In addition to this, every time we took a shower, there was water leaking all over the entire bathroom as there was no seal around the shower cabin (which was also extremely small). The balcony door couldn’t be locked. We also faced an unpleasant situation with regards to a buffet-type meal which they served during our last night here, at one of their Greek Nights. The food was basically bland, even though they tried to make a variety of dishes. We couldn’t eat anything and it cost 28€/person. We tried to discuss with the owner about this issue and we were met with hostility and shouting, trying to make it all about us not wanting to pay for the meal, instead of trying to understand what they did wrong and to solve the problem. We also tried breakfast once and it was equally bland, with a fixed price (15 €/person) which didn’t even include coffee from their espresso machine - they only included filter coffee.

A boutique hotel run by a friendly family. My initial expectation was a clean place to stay and a chance to visit the beaches of Thassos during the day. Hotel Elektra definitely exceeded my expectations with its amenities and service. We used the hotel beach on our first day. It was beautiful, and the drinks were high-quality and reasonably priced. Watching the live Greek night from our balcony on the second night was a wonderful experience. The breakfast was varied and delicious. We stayed as a family. My mother lost her phone, and they found it and returned it to her. What can I say? I'll definitely be back.

We are repeat customers of this property and as before we enjoyed the fine accommodation and location. The property is well maintained with a few minor exceptions, very clean and staff friendliness.

The maintenance deficiencies mentioned to the staff (a burnt lightbulb, defective shower head) were fixed after half a week. Also inconsistent diner food quality.

The location is very convenient in a quite part of town close to the Kavala ferries. The private beach area is very comfortable and well kept with food and snacks. We didn’t even use the pool because we were so comfortable by the beach. The staff was kind and attentive. Helen in the front desk was very helpful. And when I needed something taken care of her and the hotel manager did their best to accommodate.

Just like last year, our stay here was nothing short of perfect: the rooms have lovely holiday vibes (minimalist & cosy design), the beds & pillows are soooo comfortable, the breakfast is a great reason to wake up and get going in the morning and the beach up front is just what you need for lazy days. Aaand 100 extra points for the specialty coffee!

Front beach , lovely staff , very clean , quiet. We loved the recommendation list with restaurants that we received from the reception upon arrival. Excellent suggestions. We will definitely come back !

Bit challenging to ensure you get a spot in the afternoon on the beach in some days due to access from people that were not checked in at the facility. However we managed and that was not an issue at all.

The views were spectacular. The beach is right by the hotel, just across the road so very convenient for a beach holiday.

There aren’t many shops in Skala Prinou, however. That is to be expected being a small island. But there are frequent enough buses into Thasos town itself. What didn’t I like about the property? Not a lot to be honest. The staff are friendly and accommodating, the views are incredible. The food was, as the Greeks say, Νοστιμο! Delicious!

Exceptional place! Very quiet and peaceful place! I recommend for a complete vacation! Comfortable beds, clean rooms, extremely kind and attentive staff! The hotel offers a delicious breakfast, they also have amazing coffee! The property offers the perfect balance of comfort and access to the seaside, the ferry and many points of turistic interest. The staff was very friendly, attentive and helpful. The amenities and cleanliness were excellent and consistent during our stay. Another point to mention was the good quality of the breakfast and lunch.

Everything was perfect. Breakfast tasty. Bed and pillows are very comfortable. The hotel is very close to tavernas and local bars. You can find lots of tasty options near the hotel. It has its own beach it's also very nice. I am planning to come again. Staf made me feel like I was home. Thank you for everything :)

The interior design of the hotel was lovely. Private beach and sea was beautiful and quiet, while the rest of the island was very crowded. Breakfast was enough. Staff was very kind and helpful. There were nice cafes and restaurants in walking distance. Pool was a good opportunity for children. The beds in the room were very comfortable.

The bar is closing at 11 pm at nights. It could be open until 12 pm. Housekeepers were starting their work a little early, causing noise in the mornings. The pool could be more clean.
