Everything was just perfect! The location, the private beach, the cleanliness, the food at the restaurant was exceptional… Staff is very friendly and the management is very understanding and accommodating as well.

Perfect location. Great rooms with stunning view and private pool. Superb private beach. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff.

Not very easily accessible for people with reduced mobility (stairs, bathroom design)

Everything was perfect, but what stands out from the moment you step in is the always smiling, ready to help staff. The private beach with a wonderful service is a gem.

Before arriving at this hotel, I read several reviews where guests mentioned their rooms had been upgraded. I assumed this was a tactic to earn good ratings. However, upon checking in, we were also informed that our room had been upgraded. We thanked them and accepted the change. But when we arrived at the 'upgraded' room, it was nothing like what we'd seen on the website—there was a musty smell, outdated decor, a toilet without a door, and a terrace door that was broken, which they advised us not to open. I immediately went to the reception, showed the photos of the room I had booked on the website, and requested that room instead. To my surprise, the hotel manager informed me that the hotel was fully booked. When I asked what would have happened if we hadn’t accepted the upgrade, I received no response. They offered a refund, but only if I insisted. After some back and forth, the manager finally provided one of the newer rooms in the hotel. Although we got the room, the experience had already soured our stay.To me, this felt like deception. We decided to check out early the next day but were told that a full refund wasn’t possible. After some intense negotiation, we were refunded only for the last night. We had to stay one more night and in the morning we left the hotel as quickly as possible. My advice: don't fall for the 'upgrade' story, especially if it mentions a private pool and check the both rooms. Additionally, the hotel seems to be struggling with its identity. There's much more I could say, but I believe this is sufficient.

We've stayed at Alexandra hotel for 4 nights during mid June 2024.There was slight issue with our accomodation at the beggining, and hotel staff organized immediatelly to fix the issue and make our stay great! Our apartment was great, clean, and very comfort. Private pool really creates the joy.Apartment was cleaned twice a day. Staff is extremely polite, always there if you need anything. Room service is fast.Location is perfect, at the middle of golden beach, with private sundbeds.Definatelly will go back to Alexandra hotel!

Very close to a sandy beach, great staff, excellent breakfasts. Beautiful room & lovely calm relaxing feel to the whole hotel. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance & no need for a car hire.

We found the main pool shallow & it would have been nicer not seeing duck poo on the pool side furniture

Everything, the facilities were of top quality, staff was very kind, they provided us an upgrade which was very kind, the beach and the sea were tremendous, hope to come again soon.

I'm deeply surprised that Hotel Manager remembered my name & 3 years ago stay with my wife. Our previous stay on 10.10.2021 because of weather conditions we had missed the ferry to Thassos & we had to stay in Keramoti in a pansion. Today the manager upgraded my room to a lovely flat in front of the pool. I hope to stay in the hotel. Best RegardsEvren

A very good welcome. Polite staff. I got a cake for my birthday and lots of amenities in the rooms. Highly recommend, wonderful three days spent with my family at the hotel!

The hotel is very quiet and perfectly located to the beach. Rooms are nice, we were upgraded to mesonet with private pool and jacuzzi. Cleaning of the rooms were twice per day or more. I had a fantastic deep massage, many many thanks to this amazing girl!

Wealthy area is quite poor - very nice steam bath and too small gym corner.Tables in the restaurant were for two and it was a really challenge to manage to have a breakfast with our friend on table for three. Manager of the restaurant gave his best but I found hotel policy in this direction for awkward.

One of the best resorts we have had the pleasure to visit. The staff was genuinely friendly, helpful and excited to make our stay memorable. The food and drinks were spectacular and the location could not be better. Can’t wait to return for another fun-filled vacation.

Excellent location at the heart of Golden beach. Private beach with enough space between umbrellas and nice lounges. Really good and delicious food. Helpful stuff. Towel service twice a day.

Everything was great and amazing at the hotel.We got a free room upgrade from suite to an actual house with a private pool. The staff was extremely polite and friendly without being over friendly.If it were up to me, I would not change anything. Food was really good and had plenty of options both at breakfast and dinner. It's the perfect place for relaxing and having a great time. Only problem is that you don't want to visit anything else while staying there.

The hotel is really a 5-star hotel, in all aspects. Starting from the comfort of the rooms, to the equipment, to the exemplary cleanliness of the spaces, to the service of the staff who try not to leave any wish unfulfilled and ending with the private beach equipped with comfortable sunbeds and umbrellas. In my case, the experience at this hotel was exactly as I was promised on the day of arrival: a memorable one, from the first to the last day of my stay.

The breakfast buffet had a lot of choice and there was something for all tastes. The hot food was always hot, bread fresh, nice fruits, pastries, hams and cheeses. We also ate at Dunes and the dinner choice was also excellent. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were cleaned every day and kept very clean. The spa offered a lot of treatments and I had a very good pedicure. The hotel location was also good, a quiet spot ( May visit)but close enough to walk to other places and right on the sandy beach.

The pools were cold and realise we visited early in the season but if one pool could have been heated that would have been great.

The hotel was so nice. The room also was so nice. It was big, clean and pretty. Near to the beach :) I want to go one more time :) Employees were very kind.

We didn't like the SPA facilities. We went to the SPA and the lady from there told us that we had to make an appointment because the sauna is not prepared, so we've made an appointment for the next day. The next day when we went again to the sauna she said that we must wait because the sauna is not prepared and it was very cold inside. So, my question is what is the point to make an appointment, we were very disappointed and we left.

We were impressed since the time we entered the reception lobby. The host served us cold champaign while we did the paperwork for the check-in. We received a room upgrade (private pool). The cleanliness of the room was impressive, and the bathtub huge. The housekeeping was exceptional, every day we received linen and towel change, bath supplies replenishment and minibar refill. The courtesy of the staff was beyond our expectations, every need that we had was fulfilled.Regarding the restaurant, it is hard to find word to describe the variety of menus or the taste of deserts. The waiters were very fast and the choice of drinks was huge. Four nights were not enough for us to even try one quarter of the menu. Everything we ordered was included in the "Ultimate Golden Hospitality", meaning that we didn't have to pay anything extra beyond the accommodation fee (all-inclusive). I also want to mention the "Dunes Beach Bar", where the bartender impressed us with some specialty of the house cocktails, also included in the package. I would totally recommend the "Grapefruit Ricky" cocktail, which was amazing. The private beach is also very close to the resort, no more than 50 meters from our room. Every umbrella had a terminal from which you can order drinks or snacks, which was amazing.I would also like to thank the manager Anastasios Alvanos for the goodbye letter I have received on the email after the checkout, for his amiability during our entire trip and for the passion he puts into his work, which is truly remarkable. Our mind is already set for revisiting this resort the next year.

Literally, everything about Alexandra Golden Boutique Hotel is exceptional. First, the owner welcomed us with an unexpected upgrade: maisonette with private pool - which was fantastic! Second, the location itself, including a closed private beach with sunbeds (like “back in the garden” close), assisted by a super friendly staff, from breakfast to dinner, all day long. Excellent food, excellent everything, absolutely no minuses. Definitely, a unique location, strongly recommend it for a quiet, relaxing vacation!Thank you, Alexandra Golden Boutique!
