I liked the history behind this beautiful old building. It felt like going back in time.

The church bells ring all through the night. It takes some getting used too. I stayed for 4 nights.

Andrea is a really good host. Hotel is in a great location. Really good vibes.

If you need wifi there isnt any outside of the reception.

Very pleasant, historical building and very central to Acqui Terme. Restaurants and sights were all only minutes walk away. Staff were very helpful and friendly and some staff spoke excellent English, which was useful at times.

Very strong showers - excellent - but didn't like the shower curtains. Difficult sometimes to keep the water in the shower tray.

We visited this hotel for the 2nd time. the first time we had our room in a different building. much nicer. This time our room smelled awful! there must have been a chain smoker in this room. Please provide Smoking and non Smoking rooms! Also the rooms are not sound proof at all.

The hotel is near to Acqui Terme Train Station

The recpetionist dint know EnglishRoom size is smallHotel is located at height so you have to carry the weight of luggage for about 35 meters

Nice location. Breakfast ok. Rooms are simple but clean. We don’t understand why this hotel has only a 7.6 at Booking.com. would give higher rating.

I rarely write reviews as most places are Ok, few are bad and few worth highlighting. But this place is my ideal. it has been sympathetically redecorated, the rooms are clean, furniture new but in keeping and facilities fine. So why is it worth reviewing? Because it feels like a privilege to stay in such a building, with its solid floors, huge tiled corridors, cloisters (if that is the correct term). Even the breakfast room has a 6 foot painting in the ceiling which is perplexing - full of symbolism. This is great value to stay in a historic building which is full of interest - recommended.

Clean and comfortable room. The location is excellent, and the building itself is very impressive. The staff were all nice, and the breakfast was good enough.

I did not have breakfast there. NOTE: In the description in booking.com it says there is a bathtub but there are no bath tubs in the hotel at all, shower was good.

The room was very dark and the shower wasn't up to much

was a cold buffet breakfast - good selection.
