the lift i don't like, odd sound

The hotel has a lot of character, staff is very friendly and we had wonderful service with freshly made coffee in the morning.

The hotel is. Always clean, love the old style décor and the staff is very welcoming and helpful.

Breakfast was adequate for us, coffee machines were offWaiters are under extreme pressure, understaffed, cleaning certain hotel rooms only !? Poor waiter on own running front & back of house with a torch ! Electric cut off ??No tables set for evening meal.

The hot power shower. WIFI good. Food was adequate, turn the hot water urn on, provide milk. Expensive evening meal paid for by torchlight, meat great, no vegetables spotted. Just different for non Italian.

If you want the hotel to be a cheap 1 night coach stop, then supply the staff as some coach tour guests are just pigs, the mess they leave. Give the pigs a bin to use - if you want restaurant service then provide it, if you are a hostel say so and drop prices. If you want guests to come back then feed them adequately and clean the rooms (3 days no cleaning). It was freezing, damp rain for 3 days turn the heating on. Staff need help, you take the money but provide no services.

Location is great, in the very center

Breakfast was not the best. Very few options and no vegetables or fruits.

Everything was perfect (for the price you pay) - clean, air conditioned rooms, comfortable bed, good WiFi connection, central location, nice view, old authentic building, delicious breakfast, kind staff, excellent score price : facilities.

good location and price

the hotel is very old, it definately reqired to be renovated. When there are many groups in the hotel the breakfast is rather poor , other day it is ok not awersome

The location is good.

Unfortunately the bathroom was very dirty, especially the shower. When we arrived there were lot of black hair on the fresh bed sheets.

The staff is very kind despitr being overworked.

This hotel corresponded to 4 stars 20-30 years ago. It is very run down so only consider staying if you are paying for 3 stars.

The location.

It should have been a full continental breakfast but when we arrived at 9, still one hour before the end of the service, almost every savory choice was not available anymore and the sweet selection was limited. Parking should have been included, but it wasn't, unless the council one counts as such. The latter, however, was free overnight but only until 8:00 a.m. Cleanliness in the bathroom was not adequate and taps were obsolete. We found some mould in the bathroom as well.

I loved it all. It is Salsomaggiore, waiting for the Terme (baths) to re-open. Dinner should be an option, if possible

The price is super cheap. Also, the location was great. The staff was polite.

The room is not clean, except for the bed linen. Also, we didn't like the bathtub because it looked deteriorated.
