breakfast in at the Liz Hotel is just incredibile, all home made, so many amazing pies incredible juices, and cold cuts and cheeses it is quite surprising the variety and the level. 5 stars

The staff went to great lengths to make sure that we had access to our room, making accommodations for our late arrival. Unfortunately, a train strike prevented us from getting to Asti, so I can’t rate the actual hotel experience.

The service was excellent! Best breakfast spread I've ever seen! Nice welcome bottle of wine with fruit. The staff were very friendly and eager to help. The bathroom was small but that's kind of to be expected in Europe. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

My window view was a bunch of apartments that were very nice.

Immaculately clean hotel. A perfect location to attend the Asti Palio - a quick walk from the train station and just one block from the Palio event. Everything is less than 10 minutes walk to see museums, etc.

I absolutely loved my stay at Hotel Lis! The owners are amazing and make you feel like part of the family. The room was large, modern, and incredibly clean. Breakfast was a highlight, everything homemade, from fresh breads and cakes to delicious fruit and veggie juices. Every detail felt thoughtful, and the owners were so helpful with local tips and recommendations. Truly a warm, special place. I can’t wait to come back!

I wish I could stay longer

Room was simple yet very comfortable and clean. Appreciated welcome gift of fruit and wine. Staff and breakfast were AMAZING - beyond expectations.

The staff were extremely warm and helpful, and spoke English! The breakfast was excellent! Lots of selection and the service was prompt while discreet. The location was quiet, with blackout blinds.

The hotel is in the heart of Asti. Parking in front of the hotel is free and very convenient. The breakfast is unbelievable, and the owners and staff are very friendly and helpful.

Very well located hotel with staff that goes the extra mile for its clients. Rooms are comfortable. Very good breakfast with plenty of choice. Walk just 5 minutes to center. Easy to find free parking around the hotel.

Being an older building, some noise from corridor and neighbors.

Staff friendly at check-in, recommended an excellent pizza restaurant. The gift of a bottle of local wine and a basket of fruit in the room was a lovely welcome. Room very comfortable and well equipped - two places to put bags, unlike most. Excellent choice at breakfast, all very good quality. Easy walking distance to main sights. We will definitely stay here next time we come to Asti.

Our breakfast table was cleared when we were part-way through and went to the buffet to get some more food. Staff were very apologetic and gave us some local biscuits when we left. When paying by credit card it was charged in £ without checking with us, we would have preferred it to be charged in euros (they did offer to credit/recharge us, but we were in a hurry to leave).

I liked the central location. Breakfast was very good with many choices. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We got the two bedroom apartment which was located in an adjoining building which also had several apartments where local residents lived so you definitely had that "locals vibe" and authentic.

Unfortunately there were a few glitches. The electronic door key kept failing so I'd have to walk back to the front desk in the main building to have them reset the card. Also, the elevator stopped working and we were on the 5th floor and I have difficulty walking because of a failed knee replacement. The stairs were almost undoable for me.

From the outside, Hotel Lis is an anonymous modern hotel, in a good location close to the centre. However, what makes it truly wonderful is the staff who were the most welcoming, courteous and helpful people you could hope to meet. They not only recommended good restaurants with the kind of food we wanted but phoned around to find out who had a table free and reserved it for us. They have a wonderful breakfast buffet with equally friendly and helpful staff. We managed to park our motorbikes right in front of the hotel which was perfect. We would not hesitate to stay here again when in Asti.

Friendly staff with warm welcome at Reception and helpful advice about Asti during the stay. Breakfast was exceptional. A very large range of different products. Home made cakes and preserves. Attentive service from the staff. I don't think I've ever had such a good breakfast in a hotel.

My wife and I loved absolutely everything about this hotel. For a very reasonable cost, we had an immaculately clean room, complete with complementary wine and fruit. A fantastic breakfast with such a choice that we didn't know where to begin.A family run hotel. The owners clearly care for their guests. The service is superb, and we shall definitely return next year on our way to Italy and on our way back home.

There is nothing we didn't like about this wonderful hotel.

Excellent location, 10 minutes walk to the old town, great breakfasts, correspond to a 4 star hotel and above, there is free parking. We lived in a two-room apartment, everything is clean, cozy and great.

The hotel is only rated 3 star which is too low for the amenities offered. The staff was exceptional, owners are active in managing the business and answer any questions you have. I will definitely stay there again!
