Badajoz Center Hotel

Everything was very clean and the staff extremely nice and helpful.

good parking!

It was kind of far.

Adequate for a short stay but the Airconditioning is a downer

The airconditioner didnt work very well, and we had problems with the door lock on the room that didn't allow us to enter without issue and no matter how many cards we had it still didnt work. Pool is underground.

I like that the hotel is just across the bus station. The room is massive, bed is grand and super comfortable.

Very good breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Walking distance to the city center. Nice swimming pool.Good food at the hotel restaurant.

All was good.

The hotel staff is extremely nice and attentive. The hotel is very comfortable and well located. The breakfast is amazing.

We liked the food at the restaurant but it would be nice to have more variety for the included meals.

Family Stay Cut Short Due to Unacceptable Conditions

We arrived to check in and were greeted by one of the coldest, most unwelcoming receptionists we have ever met—no smile, no warmth. The check-in process also took far longer than usual. When we entered the two rooms we had booked, we were immediately hit with an unpleasant smell. The rooms were dark, facing directly into the hospital building next door, and one of the beds had a visibly dirty cover. We went back to the same receptionist to share our concerns, but she was even more unfriendly and offered no solutions. At that point, we decided to check out. The hotel staff said they would process a refund if booking.com contacted them, but despite booking.com’s efforts, no refund was granted.Overall, this was an extremely disappointing experience for our family. The service, cleanliness, and atmosphere were all unacceptable. Unless you specifically need to stay next to the hospital for personal reasons, we strongly recommend avoiding this hotel.

The room was spacious and spotless. The breakfast was amazing. And the restaurant for dinner had a lovely menu.

Nothing to dislike.

The location & the amenities.

We were promised a picnic breakfast b/c we were leaving before our paid breakfast. This picnic turned out to be very good but took long to prepare. As if the staff from the night before had not told the morning shift about this.Room could use one overhead light in the middle of the room.

The hotel is nice, clean, and centrally located. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the overall stay was very relaxing. While the hotel is a bit outdated, it still meets all modern standards. I especially loved the outdoor pool—it’s a good size and gets plenty of sun throughout the day.

Room was spacious and well maintained. Breakfast was excellent similar to other HC hotels we stayed in the past. Bed was also comfortable.

Hotel is around 20 minutes walk from the city attractions, centre and shopping area.

The staff spoke english and went out of thier way to accomdate. We left the morning before the nationwide electrical outage and went to Lisbon for business. In lisbon we learned about the electrical outage and after 3 hours called the hotel. They agreed to accomodate our retrun. The staff had many headaches as result of the outage. They took measures to accomodate us depsite the handicops imposed. Hats off to the nightmanager. The breakfast and dining area are excellent.

The breakfast buffet was good.

We're not high maintenance travelers, but Hotel Badajoz needs to hire another person to help out the night shift.

Very nice hotel, good room and the location was ideal for the purposes of my visit

The problem they had with the water that for a long time turned the water full of residues

Clean, very quiet and the staff was very nice and friendly.

Clean and friendly but minor issues let it down.

Air conditioning didn’t work. It would only blow hot air. The drain in the bath was blocked.

Nicely presented comfortable roomLarge roomVery helpful staffLoved having a kettle

Room was slightly dark - brighter lighting would be good

we were traveling through Europe to Portugal and it was just nice to take in another City.
