- Room in the refurbished part. Excellent.
- The hotel is very, very wonderful and the hotel's location is special because it is in the city center The rooms are very nice and big and the bathroom is also very clean and big. Also the staff are distinguished, respectful and have very high taste The staff's treatment was very special, they were always smiling and treated me with politeness, respect and appreciation. The breakfast was very good. The hotel prices were excellent and very cheap, knowing that the hotel deserves more than what I paid for the stay, but their prices were very I did not expect to find such cheap prices in the hotel because the hotel is more than excellent and wonderful and everything in the hotel is first class Indeed, the hotel and everything in the hotel is wonderful and distinctive and deserves to be amazed because the services, treatment, food and comfort are first class. The hotel is worth visiting and staying in. The city of Badajoz is very beautiful and has stunning natural scenery. Thanks to the hotel management for their high-class treatment and warm welcome. ❤️???
- Basic breakfast
Cons -
- Breakfast was a shambles. Large tour groups occupied all tables but where they had left, the tables were full of used plates, cups, and food detritus. No staff to be found. Back to reception, who clearly went to sort this out. We had a table with a dirty tablecloth. Tried the coffee, but it was awful. As we had paid the rate including breakfast, no refund. We departed and stopped at a village in Portugal for a great coffee and snack.
- Everything about the hotel is wonderful, beautiful and amazing. Everything about the hotel is excellent and first class. The staff are respectful and their treatment is extremely sophisticated and tasteful. I highly recommend this beautiful hotel.
- Broches ceramic tiles, poor sonic isolation, room needs refurbishing

Broches ceramic tiles, poor sonic isolation, room needs refurbishing
Great location between the railway station and the old city.Friendly staff, very comfortable rooms.
The room was nice
The room was too hot and breakfast was included on my search engine but only to find out at the hotel it’s an additional cost as well as parking.
Very comfortable bedExcellent covered parking
Breakfast was extra and quite expensive, room was very hot
Had a great size room with a good night sleep. Free parking also a bonus.
Spacious, clean, great location.
I would have liked to use the pool in the morning, but it wasn't open until 11 am. The AC was difficult to change from its full setting
Location, friendly receptionists, large pool all to ourselves.
It was very jaded. Lights not working, lift in poor condition, very poor selection at breakfast. We stayed here in 2016, and I would suggest that it hasn’t had a penny spent on it since, other than there is now WiFi, which I don’t recall being there last time. At least there is now some building work going on, although there was still drilling and hammering at 21:00. It looks like they are renovating the ground floor, but we were consigned to an old bedroom on the 2nd floor. The adjacent bedroom became occupied at 02:30, when those occupants thought it a good idea to take two showers. The hammering of the shower on our bedroom wall woke us both up, and they kept us awake for over an hour. VERY, VERY poor soundproofing. Thank goodness they didn’t get amorous. We wanted an early check-out, and were told breakfast was available at 07:30. We went down to breakfast at 07:20, and waited. At 07:40 we asked the receptionists when the staff would arrive. “Oh, not until 08:00.” They showed up at 08:10, and took 10-15 minutes to fill up the dispensing areas.
About 20 minute walk from the centre, off a major roundabout. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The noise from adjoining rooms was constant - not the fault of guests just inadequate soundproofing. Water pipes are SO loud from adjoining by rooms, and doors being closed down the corridor can be heard loud and clear. It was probably the worst place I have stayed in for the amount of noise.
The staff was professional
It was More like a 2 * star hotel. The breakfast was very very basic - not worth the money. Better to go somewhere else - tapas bar.
Friendly Staff, Nice rooms, Airconditioning
The shower could use an upgrade.
Clean, charming and the restaurant next door was fabulous. Hotel staff helpful! Beautiful pool.
The breakfast for which we paid 9 Euros per person was very disappointing. No fresh fruit, limited offerings. Of our 5 weeks of traveling in Europe and Africa, this was the only one that disappointed.
Location good for passing through en route to Portugal. Great to have free covered parking and swimming pool. Cafe, restaurant attached to hotel convenient with good food and prices. Good bed.
Rooms a little dated and noisy.
Very nice swimming pool.
Large amount of contruction noise. I was not informed before booking that a large section of the hotel was to be gutted and refurbished. The banging, expecially in the lobby and at breakfast was unceasing.
Easy parking, in-house bar
Nothing really - workmen building but not a big problem
Restaurant is very good, parking spaces available and staff was very friendly
Beds were super uncomfortable
The hotel is very affordable, the rooms and bathroom are large. It's worth mentioning that this hotel has a real door in the bathroom and not the modern glass doors, which I hate. There is also plenty of parking at the hotel and there is a restaurant/bar on the ground floor. The location is honest, within a 10-minute walk radius there are good restaurant options and in about 20 minutes you reach the old city center.
It is not a very old hotel, but you can see that it has not been renovated or maintained up to date for decades. The shower head is a great example: a cheap item that can be changed in a minute, but the one in my room was the worst I've ever encountered in my life. Dirty, crooked and water was coming out everywhere, except down where it should be. There are no excuses for not spending 5 euros on maintenance in a room for which I paid 40 euros a night. The breakfast was sad, at 9:30 am it felt like when you arrive at the end of a party and there are only leftovers, I don't recommend it. My floor was undergoing renovations and you would come out of the elevator and face an unpainted, unfinished wall. Speaking of which, there was only ONE elevator that got overcrowded when many guests arrived. I know the price is affordable, but I will try other accommodations when I return to Badajoz.
Helpful English-speaking staff at reception Good location if arriving by car (there's easy parking and it's close to major routes) or train (<15 minutes walk from station)
The decor was tired. I think major works were being carried out, so this may change (and the major works may actually have contributed to the tiredness of the decor - chipped paintwork and the like). The room wasn't huge, and although there was a double-bed, it was positioned so it wouldn't be comfortable for 2 people. Perhaps the room was let only ever as a single room. The bathroom was oddly laid out.
The room and the bed, great space
They were having reformation and the noise was pretty disturbing but it was understandable
