Hotel Ciutat Martorell

room, location , staff

the location of the hotel is central. it was a walking distance to the Montorel Cental train station. it has a restaurant rite beside it where they have a party every weekend. The room was ok but the beds are twin size beds so if you are on the boig and tall side, you are short. the bed was comfortable though despite the size. House cleaners were there everyday to clean the room and spruce up the beddings.

I did not appreciate the smell we were blessed with daily. There's recycling place down the street that stunk the place up. The smell wakes one up in the morning and even in your sleep. I also did not like the fact that you cant bring some one over to visit. the no visitor policy was ridiculous to me. if you wanna have someone over, you gat to book a room for them. SMH

We liked very much the friendliness of the personel, both at the reception and in the restaurant. We had a decent dinner with tapas in the restaurant and enjoyed the good service.

Receptionist was friendly. Area was just fine :)

Cleaning ladies are loud. Almost seems they do it on purpose.

The room is very spacious and clean. The food, both for breakfast and dinner is good.

The staff was quite cold. The single bed was not comfortable.

No kettle. Glass door to bathroom.Sheets not quilt. Far too warm and air-conditioning not very effective.Smell of air freshener overpowering in our friend's room.

Everything was perfect, particularly the staff. Front desk helped me whenever I needed and housekeeping was super fast to give me back a charger I had left in the room - I was checking out and the lady was extremely efficient. Big kudos to the team.

Nothing. Just one note to international travelers - Uber does not really work in this region. It’s better to talk to reception and arrange a taxi.

The staff was very friendly and the premises were clean. The hotel is well located in Martorell.

A pipe in the bathroom above mine broke and the water dripped from the ceiling. The rooms smelled badly. The interior were old and used. The rooms were very cold. The breakfast was expensive but the buffet was very limited, a bad value for money.

All was very good and exceeded my expectations. I've stayed at the hotel before.

All was good with the hotel. I wish I could say the same about the train system - very unreliable. Kept stopping one stop before the hotel and having to change trains. Not ideal when travelling at night.

Very pleasant staff. Pleased to be given paper information about meal times, wi-fi code etc. When we arrived. Room fine and dinner exceptionally good. We were able to park on a nearby street. We stayed for just one night on our way further south. Will remember this fir another time.

Can be noisy. Air con was rattling at night. Blocked sink. No shower screen over bath and bath taps were loose. Not enough plug sockets.
