    Pros +

    • The walls are very thin and you can hear everything on each side of your room. They put us by the staff lounge on second floor and someone had a tv running all night long and I could not sleep. Taxi was 30 euro just to get to the airport.
    • Great location and very clean.
    • The hotel and staff were lovely.

    Cons -

    • Need more sleeping pillows on the bed and better pillows. It says it includes airport shuttle but you have to pay for this shuttle extra and the times are too far apart. We had to take a taxi.
    • Walls were thin so could here people next to us and above us.
    • Two things to beware of. One - there is no air conditioning. This would be a big problem in warm months especially summer. And there are hotels a bit closer to the airport, the Mercer.

Quaint, no nonsense, with some old charm, but not too old.

Air con was hard to set. It could benefit from a fresh coat of paint here and there.

    Convenient to airport

The air conditioning was horrible! It only worked when the key was in a slot by the door, but even on the maximum cooling it was a warm night in the room. We had trouble sleeping! To clarify, it was not broken, just weak cooling.

Very nice staff, great location for catching a flight to FCO.

The air conditioning in our room was non-functional. It was sweltering, which was aggravated by the fact that we had the windows open and it was somewhat noisy outside.

    8Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 6-5-2023

Friendliness of staff. They were very helpful. Liked the proximity to the pier and restaurants. Also, close to airport but never heard a plane.

the lobby could be more inviting. The lighting was not great and it felt a little gloomy. Also, breakfast selection a little sad. Compared to other 4 star hotels I¿ve stayed in on this trip, I would not have rated this hotel as a 4.

Nice comfortable room and bathroom. Very close to airport and walking distance to river Tiber and lots of restaurants.

    8JeannePosted on: 5-22-2019

The woman at the front desk was helpful, there were restaurants nearby, the shuttle service worked as expected, the room was a good size, the breakfast was excellent.

The WIFI was not dependable and the water in the shower was barely warm.

Perfect, charming boutique hotel for flying in/out of FCO. Easy walk to many restaurants and shops. Older town that still has "fishing village" charm. Staff was incredible..everyone was helpful and happy!!!

Charming old world luxury. Spacious rooms & baths with modern amenities. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Unfortunately we were only there for an overnight stay, so I cannot speak to anything other than the accommodations. We chose it based upon the proximity to the airport. The hotel arranged our rides to & from the airport which was helpful.

The staff was very friendly and helpful the room is clean and comfortable.

    Breakfast is great!!!

    Location and staff

Breakfast could be improved. Pastries were not fresh.

    5LakeysiaPosted on: 9-30-2017

The bed was hard. They only stock 1 set of towels in the room. The walls were dirty. Far from a 4star.

Nice decor, clean, very nice staff.

Not worth value for money ! This is far away from being 4 star hotel

Not clean , TV size very small , Poe breakfast

    10Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 7-22-2015

It is conveniently close to the airport and they have a shuttle that will take you there or pick you up for 6 Euro per person. The Hotel itself is exquisite. The staff could not be better.

    9SandraPosted on: 6-1-2015

Small, private hotel that was a pleasant surprise to stay at. The staff is extremely helpful and polite. The continental breakfast is very good. Location is near a row of good seafood restaurants. Clean rooms, nice linens.

The hotel's insulation to noise is not very good. We heard people in the next room talking the whole night. Also, the pillows are too firm.

It was a very stylish and very upscale, and the staff were very nice
