Pretty much everything
The room was cold. The heating was not working, and the electric radiator was not enough to warm up the whole room.
Big disappointment.
The people who worked there were not as friendly as our stay there eight years ago. In fact in the restaurant the waiter was rude. The rooms are getting run down and the bed was very uncomfortable. We chose this hotel because of our experience there eight year ago. Big mistake! When we come back in two years we won’t stay there.
We had Room 205 on the front of the hotel.Situated right in the middle of town close to all the important sights and river the hotel has its own underground parking accessed off the Rue de Argensola. It is an extremely tight entrance and the parking spaces tight too, but, really convenient as alternative parking is difficult. The hotel itself has quite a traditional Spanish feel with a lot of dark wood features and furniture.Everything was immaculately clean!!Our room was large with bedside tables, sofa chair, long stool, desk / chair, medium sized flat screen TV, safe deposit box, luggage stand, large fitted wardrobe and dark brown floor / cream wall tiles in the bathroom. There was plenty of room for us to lay out our cases as we were only staying 1 night. The mini bar/fridge was stocked with cola, beer, water and orange juice, 2 of each. There is also a nice restaurant and bar serving a variety of good quality food and drink, to residents and non-residents inside and outside on the pedestrian area in front, at very reasonable prices to say it is a hotel. It was well attended and the atmosphere was very pleasant and relaxing in the warm evening. As we were on the front of the hotel there was some noise from the street but it wasn’t enough to disturb our sleep. Also, around 7am the fruit and veg market stalls arrived to set up on the street outside which was nice to see.
Negatives - No tea / coffee making facilities.
Yes, location in town good
Staff in cafe not friendlyHave sent 2 messages about Kindle I left in room 301 on Monday 5/08/24 but no response.
The hotel is centrally located in Old Town and facing onto the Plaza Mayor with bars and restaurants nearby.Bed was comfortable. Good size room.
Central location. We had good price, very decent sized room facing away from square so was quiet. Large Free car park less than 5 mins walk. Had lunch in their smart restaurant which was great for price paid . 25€ for 5 courses, fully inclusive of water, wine and coffee, very nice, friendly service.j
No WI-FI password in room or given at reception on check-in. Had to phone down for it- ridiculous in 2023.Breakfast could have better quality products, orange juice was thin and watery, some hot food ran out at 9am no one came to replace it despite more people coming into breakfast.
Perfect location, nice staff, big rooms and very good coffee/restaurant below. Free public parking 1 min walk from the hotel
The room was a bit smelly but luckily the window was big enough and it cleared the air
Good location with on site restaurant and secure parking for motorcycles. Staff were very helpful.
Breakfast is good
I have stayed 3 times at this hotel in some years, with the same problem every single time, the AC doesn't work properly, the rooms are hot, and they know this but will do anything about it because they are saving on electricity, don't take the top floor rooms as they are hot as hell
The location is excellent. The room was very nice and comfortable with a nice bathroom.
The hotel advertises Private Parking but does not mention the 11€ cost. There is a free public parking lot (uncovered) very close to the hotel. The hotel WiFi was very slow.
Classic hotel in an excellent location, right in the center of Barbastro. We asked for a quiet room, and indeed got one at the back, away from the square with its terraces. Relatively large room with (only) one easy chair, a reading light and a desk. Refrigerator and air conditioning available. Free, public parking is a 5-min walk away.
Front desk staff correct but rather uninspired, seemingly tired. When booking we asked for twin beds, if available, but instead the hotel replied that they would try to honor 'our request for a matrimonio' (i.e. one large bed). We sent an e-mail that our booking form had apparently been misread. Nevertheless, when we arrived we were told that only rooms with a matrimonio were available. Our (standard) room on the second floor was rather warm, and had little view. The bathroom could use some maintenance. A second armchair in the room would have been comfortable, but instead there was some kind of large blue block at the foot of the bed, a piece of furniture with no obvious function. Also, an electric kettle would have been a useful addition. The hotel appears somewhat overrated with 4 stars, and our room seemed overpriced for what it offered.
we arrived quite late and the lovely receptionist organised a sandwich for us
Central location and good rate
Car park really narrow and tight to park
Friendly staff , lovely area with small bars and restaurants
Breakfast room very clutttered .. tables not cleared .Limited choice
La terraza de la júnior suite
La entrada y Recepcion
great location, clean and comfortable
Central location, breakfast and great bedroom and balcony.
The bar, cafe and restaurant were all closed on arrival and whilst the bar and cafe eventually opened at 8.30 the restaurant did not open at all. We only stayed one night and that was a Monday so may just have been unlucky but for a hotel of this quality we thought this disappointing.
