- The facility is huge ! Can accommodate lots of people, it doesn’t feel crowded, opted to stay mostly in covered areas due to skin issue and they have that and several lounge area with complimentary tea and water and fruit bowl is a nice welcoming treat. So relaxing !The staff were so pleasant went above and beyond, especially Federica, spa manager when we had significant booking issue with booking.com that they couldn’t resolve ( spent so much energy and time that’s a different review for a horrible experience with booking.com) the front desks are so welcoming got us in an hour early. Complimentary Bfast ok ! Love my dinner though, I had fish. Unfortunately I live in another continent otherwise I will be there with friends monthly. My entire family received massage - can be improved even after a mentioned and signaled for deep tissue. But my teenage kids loved the facial.
- A nice place to relax and to improve health.Beautiful nature. Nice restaurants not far from the Hotel.
- Amazing! The property is lovely and the mineral water and spa area was relaxing and quiet. The room was spacious and comfortable. I have already recommended this property to people I met in my travels in Italy.
Cons -
- Breakfast.
- Most people here are Italian couples or groups of couples. I was a solo traveler and I don’t speak Italian so there wasn’t any interaction with other travelers. This isn’t necessarily bad - but be aware of the situation so you can adjust expectations.

Very peaceful . Beautiful gardens. Superb breakfasts. Pools lovely
Loved the facilities was surprised about how nice this hotel was
The dining and lunch experience was not good and when we complaint at dinner the waiter just didn't care.
Hotel is located outside of the city, which makes it good to enjoy nature and calm. The facilities are well kept. There is a bar and a restaurant on the site
Our room was quite small and definitely smaller than the size provided in description in booking. For a three night stay it was a little tricky to move around with a larger luggage. The wellness part consists of four thermal pools of different temperature but all are thermal (=thermal smell). None of the pools is suitable for normal swimming. Also sauna in the hotel guest area is very small and has one temperature setting. In Germany wellness/spa hotels usually have different saunas and one or more swimming pools. This is maybe different in Italy which we were not aware of so it is more a point to clarify it for anyone reading this review so they are not surprised by different cultural definitions of spa/wellness hotel :)
Lovely quiet location in the countryPrivate thermal pools were greatDelicious breakfast
Bed comfortable but bathroom had a strange multi level thing going on, not great For night visits. This is a facility that caters to Italian peopleNot great for English speaking clientsDinner was not great, not close to the same quality we have experienced in other Italian restaurantsVery limited food options in the barLimit the dinner seatings to 7:30 and 9 pmMessed up our dinner order not preparing the main course to arrive at the same time
Great large estate with beautiful scenery. Nice and clean, with plenty of pools.
Breakfast is tasty but very modest, no vegetables and eggs!
very nice staff, wonderful surroundings, good food, lovely thermal water
Good location, OK-ish room
Poor SPA facilities, very poor customer service. In addition: After check in we had an emergency and had to leave the next day. Based on our booking we should have gotten 2 of the 4 nights back as refund. They told us booking.com had to handle that, booking.com contacted them and they refused to agree on the refund. After weeks of back and forth between the hotel and booking.com I gave up and decided to leave this review
Loved the location and the choice of multiple thermal pools. Also the opportunity to use the public sections before the daytime users arrived. The indoor hot pool was . . "Hot"!The chap on the desk was very welcoming and very drole; always worth chatting to (not all staff were as welcoming as he).Spa was excellent, and treatments/massages were expertly given. . . That's what you are here for after all.
Didn't find a single channel on the TV in English, so not possible to keep up with any world affairs. That doesn't matter you think as you are here to relax, but you do have to "Keep in touch" to a degree.Restaurant menu was pure Itallian so everything was a guess to all of us who are "mono-linguists". . For a main I requested what I thought was Beef; I got a tomato! . . A "Beef" Tomato. The waitress that brought the starter before this gastronomic triumph, did say in perfect English "Be careful as the dish is very hot". . . Why is she not allocated to English speaking guests? The wine sommelier (who doubled as a waiter) did translate on later evenings, but he deed seem to be not happy if you didn't actually want wine with your meal. The Cloudy Lemonade was good, but it stuck in his throat to bring it!Air-con in the room was never quite "Cold" enough during the hot summer this year. . . it could pull the room to 6°C below the outside temperature, but when that is in the 30s this didn't really help.Room was also quite dark and unwelcoming. . but it has to be said, perfectly functional.
Very beautiful setting, comfortable and elegant resting places, great facilities, fantastic panoramic view from the room, lovely garden.
The breakfast could be richer... (more kinds of eggs, more vegetables etc.)
Beautiful hotel, clean rooms, friendly staff
A high-class spa with quality everywhere. Professional service and fine food and wine.
Visitors from other countries who are accustomed to thermal baths in the 104º range may be disappointed at the relatively cool thermal baths at Rapolano, claimed to be 102º. The waters are wonderfully medicinal, though....
It’s been just great to be there. I went through all the reviews on both TripAdvisor and booking and must say the negative stuff doesn’t match. The staff is attentive and helpful. Not everyone speaks English fluently but at the and you always find a solution. The spa, hotel and restaurant 10/10. We will visit again!
Menu in the restaurant might have been also in English. However Google translator helped us :)
The property is beautiful. Well decorated and comfortable room, giant park overseeing the beautiful Tuscan hills and numerous facilities (gym, spa, pools, tennis court). Staff was friendly and helpful. Location is also great (30min to Siena, 40min to Arezzo and there are many cute Borghi around such as Lucignano). We definitely recommend the hotel and would come back if we get the chance!
The staff were very friendly and very interested .Great location
It was not appropriate for them to accept children in the quiet and peaceful facility,
Gorgeous views; very nice staff
Nothing just wish i could’ve stayed longer
The scent of Sulffor might be bothering
