Pros +
- The hotel is in a great location, just a short drive from San Gimignano. It felt more like a resort than a hotel. Our room was spotless, and we had a nice view. The staff was great. We only stayed one night, and wished we could have stayed another.
- NIce place in a nice area. Room was clean, food was good
- It was a beautiful property with a long tree lined driveway that was the classic Tuscan countryside. They have a large pool in the back surrounded by a patio and expansive gardens. They also provide a free shuttle into town.
Cons -
- well, if you are looking for a quite place to rest this is perfect. If you are there to see Tuscany, there are long rides anywhere you want to go to, exept San Giminiano that is closed by.Maybe it was our mistake to plan the Tuscany trip as a "Star based"
- Rooms are a little outdated
- Not much that we didn’t like. When we checked in the front desk receptionist went out of his way to accommodate us, our room hadn’t been set up for heating, it was a bit cold for us, he brought in a space heater. The restaurant staff were excellent, Daisy was a wonderful young woman, who I enjoyed talking to, the food was delicious.Sadly, I couldn’t say the same for the breakfast staff! There was one gentleman who was very friendly, but the rest of the ladies were very unfriendly, when I asked where I would find the coffee, she pointed to the direction, in a way like it was a lot of work for her. Our table kept piling up with plates, no one cleared it up, it was a small table. The spread was amazing.

Great location about a 5 minute drive into the main town of San Gimignano. Free shuttle service into town is so easy and convenient. Plenty of parking. Comfortable rooms.
Lovely location. Beautiful setting. Just lovely to be at.

The place is amazing, nice olive gardens, swimming pool, perfect location and gret staff. We enjoyed our stay and spent pleasant time.
The hotel was very nice. The grounds were beautiful, especially the very big pool. The rooms were decent and looked after by the staff daily. The breakfast buffet was very nice but they did not have many gluten free options. The bar was really nice and the staff were friendly. The reception staff were very helpful.
The serving and clearing staff were not very friendly or that helpful. It was a 3 star hotel but the prices were too high for food and drink. Friends of mine joined for a swim, ate and drank and supported the hotel but upon leaving were hit for a 50 euro charge which was not mentioned on their arrival.

Location and facilities. Amazing large pool and lots of food choices. Patio outside of rooms.
Cost was a bit high and rooms themselves on the smaller side. Overall would return here.
Great stay, quiet setting but easily accessible to San Gimignano and Florence. Food and service were top shelf.
Everything, excellent property, excellent breakfast, personnel were the best and most helpful. Free transit into town was wonderful. Can't say enough about this property.
Nothing, everything was fantastic.
Location. Staff friendly, except for one person at the restaurant
Room in fall season very hot 27 celsius (81 F) the air conditioned was not working, reason according with staff it wasn’t summer. Unable to open de windows because the mosquitoes.Terrible experience in the dinner. We had a lot of expectations for this hotel in the middle of the Toscana there are a lot of places for dinner close to the hotel, our recommendation is skip the restaurant which is the 70th of 100 places. Simply no taste and bad service.
The breakfast was fantastic with a wide variety of both protein and pastries. Room was nice and spacious for three adults.
We stayed in-between weather seasons and the rooms had been switched to heat. So had to sleep with windows open but with no screens - woke up with many bug bites to include three on my face. Second night, closed windows but was stuffy and hot. Hotel staff very nice but could not adjust for the spell of warmer weather.
The location was great and the restaurant was a great surprise!
The rooms are modern, it’s not an old farm
Amazing villa with a true Tuscan feel. Everything they advertised and more. Pool area is amazing, with a big bright and inviting pool. Lovely common areas and a breakfast that is next level!
Nothing I did not like. One should note that transport between any place around San Gimignano into town is limited and expensive, and the accommodation shuttle only run till afternoon, so coming back from SG to the accommodation is a costly taxi (EUR 35 for 5 km!)
Beautiful setting. Outside pool area and gardens were gorgeous. Lovely staff.
No tea making facilities.
Staff wonderful. Food very good. Property beautiful
Would not allow outside food in main area
Location, the place itself is magic, pool deck and breakfast patio.
We had dinner at the hotel restaurant (not included in the price), as they really recommended and asked us if we wanted to take a reservation. Very disappointed by the Fiorentina steak. I had many in the past but this was definitely the worse. Not a good taste, texture was not there and the server justified by saying not all the cattle are the same. Wasted 70 euro.
We loved everything about the property, the rooms, the food options, drinks, the pool, location, it was very quiet and peaceful/relaxing. Staff were to friendly, helpful and accommodating.
