This hotel is in a beautiful location with great swimming pool and a great restaurant. Clean and safe. But most important, the staff is all kind and amazing... We loved every minute.

This is an oasis of relaxation away from the bustle of San Gimignano yet close enough to drive there in 10 minutes. Situated along the via Francigena it’s an ideal stopover for a night, breakfast, coffee or a meal. Family run it’s relaxed, low key, friendly and very comfortable with the amenities you need in summer (A/C, a nice pool, good food in the trattoria on site, mini fridge for your wine and a lovely garden to relax in). If you are looking to decompress from a hectic schedule I would highly recommend this hotel as it has everything you would need. The staff are multi-lingual, helpful and cheerful and make your stay just that much better.

This was the second time we stayed at this property. The staff is outstanding from check-in, to maid service to the in-house restaurant wait staff. They remembered us and were extremely welcoming. We recommend rooms that have balconies as you can sit outside. The property is in an idyllic setting tranquil with lots of wonderful outdoor space and a pool and yet only about 10 minutes away from San Gimignano. We highly recommend their breakfast and their dinners are pretty outstanding no matter what you order. There are lots of wineries to visit nearby and it's a great area for hiking, walks, etc. We will be back again and highly recommend this place.

A lot of mosquitos in the pool

Between stays in towns/cities we needed somewhere to chill and relax. We got it!Location: Just a few kilometres out of St Gimignano is this fabulous quiet friendly place in beautiful countryside. Via Francigena passes the gate. Room: We had opted for a room with a terrace which was bathed in sunshineStaff: Hotel now run by extended family of the couple who built it. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and staff so helpful especially organising transfer to the train station.Great pool and gardens to relax in. Dinner and breakfast (latter on sunny terrace) both excellent.

Peaceful location with excellent facilities including ping pong table, darts and pool table, as well as lovely swimming pool area. Communal sitting area if needed, and spacious dining room for breakfast and restaurant use in the evening.

The property is located a few kilometers from San Gimignano in the rolling hills. This makes it a great location for accommodations. They have a lovely large covered patio for dining in the evenings. The food was very good. We dined here both nights that we were here. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are air conditioned and the property also serves a wonderful breakfast, there is parking on premises, a billiard room, pool, and small bar. We enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend it.

The staff was so nice all the time. All of them also speak English very well. They have a billiard pool, ping-pong table, picado, and other games you can play for free. The pool was great. The room had everything we needed. Maybe a little bigger refrigerator would come handy. The location is great so close to San Gimignano. They have a restaurant too and a good one as well. All was perfect.

the air conditioning in our first room (14) did not work, it was extremely hot and hard to sleep. In that same room the bathroom was outdated with a wobbly mirror and unstable bathtub door. The air conditioning of the corridor of that part of the hotel was barely workingThe second room (24) was much better. And we got a small discount for the inconvenience.

Everything. The tranquillity of the location, so peaceful with lovely pool area. Excellent staff - lovely, friendly and always helpful. They work so hard. Delivious breakfast and great atmosphere around the hotel. Very short distance to visit the beautiful town of San Gimigniano.

The sun loungers at the swimmingpool are not in good condition. Would need to get fixed or upgraded or replaced.

The location is excellent and well-equipped. The view is spectacular, and the swimming pool is a blessing. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and wines, and the breakfast is delicious. There is also a billiard table and other games available.

The location is perfect - Close to Siena, Volterra, and San Gimignano. Perfect for day trips. The hotel is very clean and easy to explore. As for the service , the entire staff is excellent. Pietro, the manager was especially helpful and kind to us.The food at the restaurant was fantastic - especially the steak fiorentina !! I can honestly say that it was one of the best hotel experiences ever.

We were 4 couples that came to tour Toscana for the first time. The location is perfect for one day trips to Firenze, Sienna, Chianti wine country and San GimignanoThe service of all hotel workers,, the restaurant, pool and parking facilities were excellent

Mattress was a bit hard to my taste

Absolutely wonderful. Located on a hill between 20 to 45 minutes driving time from the most attractions of Tuscany but still in s peaceful area, among olive trees and vineyards.Very good breakfast, excellent people and a good restaurant, what else you need?

Everything was great

- We absolutely loved the garden of the hotel. It was gorgeous- The rooms were nice and beds very comfortable- The bathroom was small but sufficient- The drinks in the bar were perfect :)- The breakfast was very good- The surrounding was beautiful. Unfortunately we stayed just one night after our arrival from Corsica and in the morning we continued in our journey home. However, I can suggest this beautiful place for longer stays in Tuscany
