Hotel L'Antico Pozzo San Gimignano

The hot spring pool after a day of walking was wonderful! Even my 6 year old daughter enjoyed it!

We stayed here 20 years ago and again now. We'd stay again next time we go to Sam Gimignano. The rooms are large and so beautiful. The breakfast was fantastic and the owners couldn't have been kinder and so helpful. The location is perfect because it's close to all the shopping but in a quiet part of the town.

I have no complaints. We loved every minute.

Literally the best location in the center of town with very comfortable bed a duvet 2 pillows each a bathtub which I loved after walking 24 km. Fabulous breakfast with eggs made to order and bacon. Wonderful accommodation lots of history with a modern amenities

Excellent location in town. Great staff. Great breakfast. Nice courtyard. Helpful arrival videos. Quiet. Lovely paintings on the walls and ceiling. Very dark shutters in room made sleeping great. Beautifully remodeled bathroom. Close to great restaurants and shops. Multi-day parking discount. Elisabeth was so very nice and friendly!

The TV volume was limited to “18”, a level so low that it was unwatchable.

Great location of property wonderful location to shopping and restaurants. Very beautiful architecture- quaint friendly people.Parking was not optimum only downside. Challenging some days finding a space and then getting luggage up- they say you could drive up but would never recommend unless to end of street

Hotel was well located. It was in the Main Street in town yet no noise in the room with the windows closed even though there was a festival in town which we enjoyed.

Great for what it was. Room was simple but clean. Breakfast was good. Situated right in San gimignano.

Can't recommend this gorgeous place enough - from the friendly and helpful staff, to the delicious breakfast on the breezy flower-filled terrace, to the excellent location and the exceptionally comfortable and beautiful room.

Breakfast was very good. Included bacon and omelet . Location was great. Not to far from the parking lot. Our directions didn’t mention the elevator from road level up a level which made carrying bags a little easier then going up steps.

Location is excellent, hotel is clean and modern, staff are friendly and helpful, very well priced

Be aware there is no lift from the ground floor to reception on the first floor, so you must be able to carry your luggage up one flight of stairs to access the hotel

The room is quiet and comfortable and a short walk to all the attractions. The walk up to the hotel is a little strenuous for older folks but one can drive up to the hotel to drop the luggage off if you are early and studied the roads. They allow us to keep our luggage after checking out which is nice!

Old style, clean, good location close to good shops and good food spots. Even had a tiny market next door good for snacks and drinks for the room!

Breakfast had few options for the price but the staff was very nice.

It was gorgeous!! Antique style perfectly fitting in with the feel of the city! Nice spacious rm and bathroom and just a few feet away for the center of town! Plus the best expresso in the city is a few steps down from the hotel! And if you need a taxi ask the hotel! They’ll send Marco to you and you will be in heaven! Best driver and nicest guy in ITALY!!!!!

Not a lot of choices for breakfast and it was expensive for what u could get. Plus if u wanted a soft drink it was a separate charge.

This is a clean, nice place in the center of the ancient village. Our stay was very very good
