The upstairs bedroom was not as described. The kitchen appliances were not efficient. It took too long to heat water for coffee. If we had to cook a meal it would be difficult and take a long time

Both bathrooms were rather tired and the shower cubicles need updating. The second double bed area on the internal balcony is small with a low ceiling

The accommodation is amazing, surrounded by wine yards and greenery. The views are incredible and it is very quiet there. The apartment was fully equipped, so we could cook whenever we needed. The swimming pool was amazing. Me and my family had a great time. We also traveled a lot around and visited many places like Pisa, Siena, San Gimignano.

In the description it said there would be toiletries, which there were not so we had to buy shampoo and body wash. Otherwise everything was perfect.

Everything was amazing, the apartment was huge, our daughter was delighted with her bedroom and toilet upstairs. The view is breathtaking, overlooking San Gimignano and Tuscan hills with vineyards. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, although we didn't use it as much. Serena is a wonderful host, she explained us everything we needed to know. We had heating because it was couple of cold and rainy days, although it was May, so we had all the comfort. We would love to come here again.

The pool was very cold, but then again it was the beginning of May, and it was raining the most of the days so we couldn't have use it any way. The last 1,5 km of the road is a dirty uphill road but nothing we couldn't handle. We loved our stay here.

Castle was beautiful.. excellent location. Upon arrival the staff were very friendly and gave us some wonderful tips on what to do which made my girlfriend and my trip very special! Thank you!

The rooms and furniture are very old. Mattresses are probably 15-20 years old. The showers are also not good and the water always changes between hot and cold while showering. Kitchen equipment really used and not in good shape.Really think that we overpay for this one.

Beautiful location with views of San Gimignano in the distance although the property is reached by 1 1/2 km of unmade road.Excellent on site restaurant and also a large terrace for early evening drinks.

Annoying little extras such as 5 Euros for a pool towel, 5 Euros to use the washing machine, 5 Euros to use the dryer etc. Please make these available at no cost and, if you must, increase the weekly rent.Could be more welcoming with some water/wine in the fridge for new arrivals.

The location, the view, the atmosphere, the pool and the hospitality of the staff was fantastic.

Only minor comment about the bed, I am 193 cm tall and the bed frame was not comfortable for my stretched legs.

Our host Serena was exceptional. We were made to feel welcome throughout our stay, Serena really did go above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our time here, and that we did! The location is absolutely picturesque, overlooking rolling Tuscan hills with beautiful sunrises and sunsets everyday. We loved the pool area, a great place to relax, swim, read a book or enjoy a sunset drink. Our accommodation was charming, well appointed and spacious. The huge adjoining communal courtyard was also a nice bonus, offering an alternative place to dine, relax and enjoy the sunshine. Would highly recommend!

Surreal beauty. It was a dream holiday for us. Situated on hill, with breathtaking view on medieval town of San Gimignano, vineyards & cypress trees. Scenic window view from the bed with a sound of birds chirping is unforgettable. Apartment was wonderful, beautiful authentic furniture, well-kept garden and a wonderful large pool. Serena, outstanding lady who runs Castello, was just great and super helpful. Kind and assertive, gave us so many useful information (about history, wonderful places to visit - wineries, restaurants, hiking roads...). Even short, unpaved part of the road only added beauty to this scenic look, and it seems it is obligatory to remains like this (in order to preserve natural beauty of Tuscany). We are coming back for sure.

Lovely apartment with the most incredible views from every window. This is such a peaceful place to stay. Serena, our host, was so helpful and kind. We really enjoyed our stay and just wish we could have had a few more days.

Although the restaurant is a separate business from the accommodation it would be lovely if they could offer breakfast - but really you just need to come prepared and do some shopping in Poggibonsi before arriving.

Serena was a pleasure to deal with. From the very beginning she has helped prior to stay and when we arrived provided comprehensive information about the accomodation, places to eat, visit and park. Accomodation is stunning. A little remote to get to at first but you soon learn! Well worth the trip. views are spectacular, accomodation first class. Tip to visit poggibonsi markets. Thankyou. Don't miss if you are there on a Tuesday.

There was not one negative thing I can say about this place. Although ad did say there was a washing machine in apartment when there wasnt but perfectly adequate communual washing and drying for 5 euro was available
