Hotel Bel Soggiorno

The hotel was fantastic. It was very clean, was a very convenient location. Room was ready when we arrived and staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The directions on parking were a bit confusing but staff assisted us once we arrived.

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. I highly recommend this hotel. They had a great breakfast, and the view was incredible!! The staff were friendly and wonderful! The town clears out around 4:00/4:30 PM, as the day-trippers leave, a great place to visit. Very fun, we had a wonderful stay at this hotel!!

Beautiful place to stay. The views from the restaurant and awesome. The kitchen lady so delightful and friendly. She prepared scramble eggs with bacon on the spot. Really good variety of fruit, cheese and pastries. 5 minute walk from the public parking lot. When we arrived the lot was full, but waited about 10 minutes in line and were able to park with no problem for the rest of our stay in San Gimignano. We loved this town. Our room was facing the street, but couldn't here the noise at night. Would definitely stayed here again

Our room was very very tiny. Francesca at breakfast is a wonderful person, so welcoming and happy, but most of the other staff were unfriendly and seemed to hate their jobs.

Everything. The view, comfort of the bed. I was really impressed by the impeccable cleanliness of the room — it was spotless and perfectly maintained. Also an excellent location.

Breakfast was not included. Considering the price per night, it would be nice if they included at least a basic breakfast with a coffee.

Great choice for Volterra

It was exactly what I expected for a small Italian hotel. It was in great shape and the staff were lovely

Hotel is inside the walls of the city so no cars can enter. The hotel is easily located a short walk inside and they helped us with our bags. Staff were very accommodating and pleasant. Breakfast was included and was amazing!

second bed in room was very uncomfortable. Set up for friends sharing is a little inconvenient. One person had a huge comfortable bed the other a very hard day bed.

Location was excellent just inside the walls. Parking lot #2 is close. We had to wait maybe 10 minutes as lot was full but cars come and go frequently. (3 cars ahead of us when got into line) breakfast was excellent. Dinner at the restaurant was very good.

Location is incredible, right at the city entrance and in a street full of restaurants and stores. For people arriving by car, the fact that is 50 meters distance from the city entrance is quite handy since you cannot get to the hotel by car. Breakfast was also amazing with breathtaking views from the Tuscany landscape.

Beautiful view of the entire valley, stunning sunrises while having breakfast. Access to the town was only a 2-minute walk, would stay again and definitely recommend to anyone wanting to relax and enjoy this beautiful city. The garage was big and easy to get in and out without any issues.

Staff is fantastic, the brekky was also very good, the view from the window awesome.The location would be very convenient - bar the parking.

Parking was a major problem. The room has seen better days. Especially the bathroom. Beds were way too soft for me. No flyscreens on the windows. And sadly the dinner was also quite average. A somewhat mediocre risotto and a dry, burned cockerel. As a bonus, some arse started chainsawing under the windows at 6am the last morning.

The hotel was in a prime location to easily see everything in the city. Everything in the city is very walkable. For parking, it was very easy to pull up before the gate (not entering the ZTL zone), get the keys to the garage, and then park in the garage. It was a short walk from the garage to the hotel. The room was very comfortable and the balcony was lovely. The hotel served a delicious breakfast and the view from the breakfast room was lovely. The staff was very accommodating and helped us store our luggage.

The bathroom was a little small and outdated, but everything worked perfectly.

This is the best hotel with the best views and it’s my favorite part of Italy. The food is great and the rooms are clean.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights in May 2025 and had a great time! The staff was so friendly, our room was comfortable and clean and it was a quick walk to the front door from the main Gate. We enjoyed all of the vineyards just a short walk from town and had 2 great dinners inside the city wall. Will definitely stay here again when we come back!

A great location right in San Gimignano not too far from the main entrance. So important to try and get a room with a balcony and see the most spectacular view of Tuscany! Otherwise the room can be noisy on the other side of the hotel. Might cost a bit more but so worth it. The staff were very helpful and friendly. There is a restaurant where they serve breakfast and dinner with big windows overlooking the countryside Would highly recommend

The location was wonderful, within the walls of the old city and the view from the restaurant was beautiful. Staff gave some great recommendations for local restaurants. Our room has a terrace overlooking the main road.

No shelf in the shower, minor but annoying. Small shower.

The windows do not isolate the noise from outside, so becouse we were facing the pedestrian promenade, it was pretty noisy.
