About
Conveniently located between Florence (25 mi) and Pisa (34 mi), Il Casale del Cotone is a renovated farmhouse set in the renowned Tuscan countryside, just 1.6 mi from San Gimignano. Il Casale del Cotone provides a peaceful setting in the province of Siena, where you can admire characteristic, rolling hills and a picturesque atmosphere. Surrounded by 70 hectares of vineyards and olive-tree groves, this 17th-century building is found near the historic, Roman church that inspired Puccini’s famous opera, Suor Angelica. With a variety of room types, Il Casale del Cotone is ideal for a family holiday or a romantic getaway. Featuring characteristic, Tuscan-country and antique furnishings, the farmhouse offers cozy rooms overlooking the Tuscan hills. At Il Casale del Cotone you can savor a continental breakfast in the panoramic outdoor patio in the summer months, or indoors in the charming dining room. Gluten and lactose free options are available upon request and meals can also be arranged.
