Hotel Pescille Country House by Double Hospitality

Very beautiful hotel with good amenities. The room we booked was very big. Breakfast was super good as well. And it’s like 5 minutes away by car from the main entrance to San Gimignano.

The bathroom from our room was pretty big, but the shower was quite narrow. Not much can be done except built a new one, which I understand is not easy or cheap to do.

Can say anything that I didn’t love!

I love the location for its proximity to San Gimignano.

The bed in the room was very uncomfortable, I was not able to get a good nights sleep. The room had a very mildew smell to it.

Location, view, ambiance. Big space in our room, hot tub is nice! The staff was very kind and helpful.

The bathroom is up a staircase, which is inconvenient at night.

Sylvia and the staff were outstanding. The location was picturesque and nestled in the hills of Tuscany. Only wish we could stay longer…next time!

Great view of San Gimignano.Good size room but it was a bit outdated and could do with an update. That said the room was clean and bed comfortable.Nice garden area to chill out in.

Exceptional view and overall great value. Probably not really 10 stars, but we got upgraded to a larger room.

The bed is too soft and somewhat small.Checkout at 10:30 and it was not possible to get a late checkout.

The facility was immaculate, the staff so friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was outstanding with great choices!

The view

The stuff was so unproffesional and unpolite. I have waiting for 35 minutes for someone to come to serve me a drink (and the guy and the girl working at the bar saw me). It was the worst expirience I ever got!!! I felt like I am not their guest.

Great location!! The view is fantastic. Room was excellent and very comfortable. Bed was comfy and the facilities were very clean. The staff were helpful with local information, and breakfast is excellent! I would stay again.

Dinner on premise was lacking compared to local restaurants and I do not recommend.

The pool was freezing

Breakfast was splendid. Extremely helpful employees. Very clean and they also have a small exhibition of accessories used by farmers in the past.

Views and great breakfast. Loved patios off rooms

Beautiful grounds and building. It is really outstanding. Sauna, pool and jacuzzi were a nice touch. It is right along the route of the Via Francigena so it was a welcomed site after a full day of walking. Our room had a full patio with a wonderful view. It was nice to relax there with some wine.

This dislike isn't about the facility, but more informative. For Via Francigena walkers, like ourselves, the facility is nearly five miles outside (before) Monteriggioni. That means a longer walk the following day - just plan.

Beautiful hotel in the countryside, spacious rooms with a lovely balcony overlooking Tuscany view, rich breakfast, parking, 5 minutes from San Gimignano by car, or 40-50 minutes walk

The hotel gives a luxurious, yet modest feel.

Huge room, awesome views, great breakfast, lots of parking places.

Wifi is OK in the morning, but useless in the evenings.Fixed 10€/day for electric charge is a bit too much when you have a PHEV. Would much prefer usage based pricing.

For lovers of nature, mediterranean cuisine, medieval cities, this hotel is in an ideal place. All praise for the maintenance of the facility and the staff.
