Great Location, plus friendly & efficient staff!

Bathroom was getting a little old/shabby, but still perfectly functional.

Mildew, musty smell in roomAir conditioning existed but was minimal at best.difficult access to room; many STEPS to the lift, STEPS to the room, STEPS INSIDE of our ROOM!‘comfortable chair” was old and decrepit and there are pieces of springs broken, Room lighting limited since no outlets for chargers other than the lamp outlets - so either have a dark room, or charge your devices.Unusual decor as there is carpeting on the floors and all of walls and ceiling.Huge bathtub with only small hand spray - so no shower!Building itself had detritus everywhere inside since it is continuously under repair, or construction.

The staff and service were excellent. The food was excellent. The bed and linens were very good quality. The mattress was comfortable.The bathtub was great. Room service was efficient and friendly.

There were no glass or porcelain cups / glasses in the room. It was all paper. The furniture in the sitting area was not comfortable.

location is great, within the old city with lots of charm and easy walking access to places of interest.

Parking situation not great.

We only stayed 1 night & didn’t eat there so can’t comment on too much. The staff were great; very professional, informative & helpful. It was a beautiful old historic building in a great location in the centre of town.

Not much. The location was indeed good with a short walk to the cathedral and many local restaurants.

This hotel was way overpriced with rooms that were way too small (we had room 19).The car parking was a bit of a joke. It should hold 3 cars but was also the store for furniture, a chest freezer and a large trailer. All of which meant it was VERY difficult to park.The bedroom was surprisingly small with a small 'double' (?) bed. The bedside lights could only be reached from the bed if you had 2m length arms.There was no mirror in the bedroom but two in the ensuite, although one of these was on the back of the en-suite door. This was not at all useful, as mirrors go !The plug in the wash basin was stuck and could not be moved. Obviously this had not been checked beforehand.The security lock on the bedroom door fell off when I turned it !! Why wasn't this checked before guests arrive?The ensuite window needs a thorough clean.The tea and coffee making facilities allowed for just one cup each, provided you don't take milk. Ridiculous.All in all this a very disappointing stay and we will not be returning there or recommending it to any of our friends,.

We only used the hotel for sleeping, the beds were really comfortable, pillows were also very comfortable. So much on your doorstep, beautiful cathedral, very friendly staff in all restaurants we visited. Exceptional cafe off a side street before getting to the cathedral.. called ‘ Patissere Mess ‘ very nice owner, reasonably priced coffee and pastries! Beautiful walks to parks and along side the river where we spotted a kingfisher on a couple of occasions. ..

Looks great from the outside, room and bathroom quite large, outside cafe area nicely laid out on the steps.

During our 3 week stay in France, Auch, Toulouse to Bordeaux by bike and 4 stops in between followed by 1 night in La Rochelle and 4 in Il De Re I felt we got least value here.,

The staff were very, very helpful and accommodating. We received a free upgrade, which was nice. The hotel is situated near the Cathedral in a beautiful area of Auch

Although the hotel was described as being modernised and updated, our room was tired and needed a refurbishment. However, it was clean. The shower was over a bath and not suitable for an elderly person.

Location in the heart of town. Easy to find.Had dinner there and the restaurant was excellent. We sat outside through a fabulous thunderstorm but the staff braved the rain and still served us with grace and good humour. Hotel is simple but good value. Restaurant gets full marks all round.

I liked the central location- the bistro food was excellent but the breakfast offerings were pretty mean - not great quality and very little available to guests

Nowhere to sit outside. Breakfast tables a bit cramped. Air con is not very efficient.
