    Pros +

    • Great breakfast and location. The room had everything we needed. Staff were very friendly.
    • Perfetto and helpfull staff.Help me with transfer and more my questions.Close bus station and the port. The beatiful beach, center, sightseeing and interest places 5-7 min walk. Perfect cleanliness. Balcony
    • The staff at Hotel Marinaro are so genuinely friendly and hospitable, the breakfast was a delight (especially the ricotta), we were sad to leave and hope to come back.

    Cons -

    • The key tag was heavy but thankfully they keep them at reception which is open 24hrs
    • The walls are thin and sound travels with the tiles so could hear other guests leaving with their suitcases which woke us up but we were aware of this when booking and didn't ruin our stay. A great way to get us up and out into the sun!
    • Toilet too near wall in front of seat, making it difficult to get on and off the toilet, I have stayed in another room and it was ok perhaps it’s just this room

The staff were super friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They had a great spread at breakfast to set us up for the day. The location was fantastic. Just a stone throw away from lovely restaurants, the beach and markets. We got a free parking spot nearby. Room was extremely clean, practical and cooling. I would go back in the morning if I could!

Staff were wonderful, really accomodating of our toddler and our terrible Italian. The restaurant is really good and so is the coffee! Location is prime and it’s also quiet as the hotels in the main square would be noisy. Short walk to everything, the closest beach is really nice but also busy during holiday season (July-sept)Hotel is close to supermarkets, ATM and laundrette, parking to the left of the building is non-residential so go there. We appreciated that they cleaned the room every day and provided fresh towels.Really enjoyable experience overall.

The air condition is fairly old so it can get freezing in the small rooms.

Floors were a bit dirty from the first day

Great location; a few hundred meters to the center with restaurants, shops and bars. Delicious breakfast. The staff headed by Antonio was very friendly and helpful.

Great location a few minutes on foot from the main square and from the marina. The hotel and the room were clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice.

We liked the night attendant who was very attentive despite limited English. We arrived late and had a 7AM ferry to catch. The hotel is centrally located (5 min from the port) but the street can get noisy.

It is an older building. Outdated rooms and showers. We asked for an extra blanket and were told we will be charged for it. But when they realized we paid for 2 rooms, they gave it to us.We needed to leave early and asked for a breakfast to go (included in the rate), or, at least, coffee and croissant since this was an early departure. We were refused right away. They also charged us for a bottle of water and some other expenses that we could not argue since we were in the hurry to catch an early ferry.

Good location with lots of free street parking around. Relatively quiet location as well with a nice breakfast in the morning. Bed was comfortable enough and bathroom was a good size. The room is nothing fancy but has enough space, storage, and comfort with glasses to drink from and a small fridge. Amazing walking distance to the center and the beach. Friendly staff and seems to be a family run location.

Lighting in the room is harsh blue/cool bulbs that feel a bit like being in a hospital. Air conditioning in the room didn't seem to work. It wasn't super hot yet but overnight we had to open the windows to let air in since the AC didn't turn on. I notice some hotels turn them off centrally early in the season so maybe that's why. Also the key for our room was very sticky and took work to get it to open.

Breakfast was great. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Rooms clean and well equipped and near to all central restaurants. Although we didn’t use it the hotel restaurant looks excellent.

    Great staff - great location

The breakfast can be a bit better - more variety

    8OlafPosted on: 10-16-2023

A nice hotel in the middle of Santa Teresa close to everything.Rooms are nice and clean. Breakfast is a little bit "continental" with only usual coffee - you have to ask for caffé (espresso) or cappuccino, but you will get it. We enjoyed our stay in the hotel and the friendly staff

Cozy room, nice view from the balcony, clean, close to the center, good breakfast, good value of money

    8EricaPosted on: 10-9-2023

Location, decor, room with balcony. Good Chamber maid service. Good restaurant on the whole with attentive, mostly efficient service. Good self-service continental breakfast included.

Could not unlock door to balcony as latch was too stiff. Somewhat fearsome, officious restaurant staff meaning that could not face the stroppy response if I complained when food arrived nearly cold. Even corrected my (fluent) Italian. I don’t mind as I’m always happy to learn, but it was just a slip of the tongue and there was no question of misunderstanding. It showed their attitude was a bit condescending. First time I have encountered that in Italy.

The hotel is fantastically located a short walk from the town square which is full of excellent restaurants and shops. 10/10 for cleanliness! Easy parking on the street.

    No bar.

Location, location, location - the best thing about this property!!! You are a 4 minute walk from the center where all the restaurants, bars, and shopping is located. Another 10 minute walk and you will be on the beautiful OVERCROWDED beach, Rena Bianca. The entire hotel and rooms were extremely clean. The rooms are on the smaller side and the shower and bathroom are really small. If you are a bigger/tall person, you will have some trouble in the shower. The rooms definitely need to be updated and have more power outlets to charge your devices. Good value for your money!

The only thing I did not like about this hotel was not having their own private parking lot or free charging stations for your rental car. You have to find parking on the street somewhere, where it is very tight and hard to find a spot to park. Breakfast was not the best - typical continental breakfast.

    Breakfast & nice staff

Poor Wi-Fi connection, our room was close to the kitchen and the door was not working properly.
