Pros +
- We stayed in a room with a balcony and the view was to die for. It was so nice up on the hill. Easy to get to. Just a really great hotel. Rooms were nice. The breakfast was good overall it's a B+ A - rating.
- The views were sort of ok.
- The place is much better than I could expect. Easy access to the beach. The pool and pool area were a good addition to overall experience. Spacy room with perfect air conditioning. Good breakfast.
Cons -
- Nothing to
- Not a great experience overall, my impressions have been heavily influenced by the price (too high for what it was). 1. The interiors are outdated, give hardly a 4 stars feeling. 2. Breakfast is OK, but quality not great. 3. Air conditioning was noisy like a jumbo propeller. 4. The view was over the terrace below rather than the beach/sea. Overall quite underwhelming, nothing clamourously bad but at the same time nothing outstandingly good.
- Nothing really.

Great location, clean and tidy. Nice staff.
Nothing really.
We appreciated a wonderful manager at the desk to greet us and guide us. The much-needed elevator system in the hotel is a bit iffy however -- one of the lifts was tempermental. We were glad the hotel had a decent restaurant.
Tempermental elevator.
It's a dated hotel in proximity to amazing beaches with a lift from the hill, facilities are basic, the rooms are white and clean, with a nice bedding and textiles, they offer a 15 EUR breakfasts with good coffee and variety of the choice and that's about it on the positives...
Despite my upfront request not to charge the card as I wished paying cash upon arrival they charged it.Any communication with front desk ends up with lengthy discussion with mysterious manager behind the scenes who's answer was NO to just about everything. (Room upgrade foreseen for my account? No) All I got for a 150 a night was a room facing concrete wall under technical stair with fan outlet from kitchen just right in front of my window (and that's described as mountain view on the Booking, lols). Asked for a change and was offered very same just a floor higher, everything else -pool view 35 eur, sea view 50 eur, new building 70eur a night. I had no time, nor energy to repack and relocate as most of the day were dedicated to the marvelous sea! Next surprise: they don't have any arrangements with beach across the road and it costs 50 eur a day! Parking by the hotel is 18 eur a day and none of it was evident on their Booking page. So folks, think twice if you really want to spend your precious days in blunt network place concentrated on marketing ripoffs, or maybe rather opt for a nice family-run villas that in abundance in this area, where people are warm and generally understand the basics of hospitality. My choice to stay here was a big mistake indeed. Bye-bye Acqua Oldella!
Loverly location, nice room bonus mimi fridge
The breakfast wasnt included and the parking was 8 euros a day..all on top of base priceCould also have provided tea coffee facilities in the room for the price
Very nice position and swimming pool. Very good breakfast.
Breakfast not included....come on...paying that amount of money you need to include breakfast.
We've been staying in this hotel many times over the years. The superior room is nice and comfortable with a terrace, a beautiful view, and a spacious bathroom. This year finally there was a shelf in the shower to put your soap and hair products, we appreciated it a lot! Delicious breakfast, this year seemed even better than before!
The air-conditioning in our room was a bit malfunctioning, it maintained the established temperature only during the day, not during the night even though we kept the windows closed
Good fruits and sweet but no vegetable at all
They charge for swimming towel and they charge for umbrella and bedsMost hotels they don’t charge for it
Nice hotel, nice view. There are plenty of restaurants around on the beach. Some of them open till late. Spotorno center is 20 min by walk. On the map it looked long, but in real life on the coast it was a good walk, we did not feel it too long.
great sea view large roomscomfortable beds parking a good bonus
ants in the room pool area a bit tired
The view from our room was outstanding. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, and the room itself was spotless and cozy. However, what truly made our stay special was the staff, who were incredibly kind and supportive, treating us like family. They went above and beyond by personally fixing our car when most of the local repair shops were closed for the holidays and others refused to help. We are deeply grateful for their assistance. A heartfelt thank you to Paolo for your outstanding management, and to Sam for all your invaluable support!
There was nothing to complain!
The room was excellent, lots of privacy. Lovely Swimmingpool. Nice beachbar (great sandwiches). Friendly service.
Beautiful hotel with a breathtaking sea view, perfect for holidays. Easy access both to the beach and city center (which is very hard to find in Liguria area. The rooms are small but clean and very comfortable.
Taxi transfer to the airport and intermediation for booking the beach would be a big plus, especially for foreigners. I hope they will implement it in the near future.
View, beach and parking
No dinner provided at the hotel
Amazing views, good location and helpful staff.
Good location 20 minutes walk into Spotorno which was a really nice little town. Spotlessly clean very comfortable bed good shower and a nice swimming pool. Excellent buffet breakfast.
Didn’t mind paying the 18 euros for parking as it was stated beforehand and was secure but begrudged paying 10 euros for 2 towels for one swim for about an hour.
Good
very old facilitiesvery complicated architecture setting4 lifts needed to get to our room
This hotel is in a great spot with lovely seaside views, we had a room with a sea view and balcony so itwas a great place to relax. Food was good quality. Onsite parking.
Had to pay for parking.
