ibis Sarlat

Small and basic room but clean and functionally laid out. Staff was great and was really helpful when our plans got derailed due to a canceled flight. Having parking in this part of town was very handy for overnight parking. Technically you can walk to the old town from this hotel but it is a slog. We ended up driving to a parking lot closer to the old town when we wanted to got into town.

Breakfast was okay but a bit more limited than we had at other Ibis locations in the area.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the location was excellent.

The parking deck is very convenient but beware if you have a med/large car, it’s a tight squeeze.

Excellent for a night stop. Everything you need, good air conditioning, very good parking, dog very welcome, and an easy walk into the town centre.

The location was very good (10 minute walk to the old town). Breakfast was very good, but the place was not nice to eat, because or the redecoration in progress. Parking was free. Most staff members were very helpful and nice

It was undergoing some improvements, so construction material was everywhere in the entrance (not very pleasant to see) and breakfast is served at the end of that corridor. I will probably suggest that all the construction work (for sanitary purposes) should begin at 11h00, after breakfast has been served. There was no apologies from the manager or anyone else about the inconveniences nor a previos alert to let us know about the redecoration

Breakfast was good. Hotel doing renovations was terrible. If we had known ahead of time we wouldn't have made the booking, at least not be charged the full price.

Having construction going on or at least some compensation for putting up with it.

Central location,made to feel welcome by staff.Great recommendations for restaurants nearby. Safe and secure parking. Sarah,Deborah and others were great asset to this hotel.Our visit was so comfortable that we decided to book another five nights.

I liked the convenience of being able to walk into the center of Sarlat from such a reasonably priced hotel.

Excellent location for walking into the centre of Sarlat but we were very pleased it was quiet and away from the crowds. Parking was good, a bit tight for a large car but plenty of availability. We enjoyed the breakfast and found the room comfortable with all we needed. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Bar area was a bit dark and seating area outside not very attractive so we went to bars in Sarlat centre.

The staff were brilliant, the room was perfect and met our needs with our disabled son it had plenty of space and converted shower room

Good size of room for a family and a pet.

Our toilet button not working, they did tried to temporarily fixed but didn’t work. It got fixed on the last night we were there. The Air Conditioning is not functioning properly - on the hot days it felt like a normal fan. Again the staff were trying to fix it but unfortunately we didn’t feel much different.

Location close to the city center, very clean, the staff very friendly and gentle, they gave us a valuable advices where to go, and the good places at the region which we have to visit.

All sockets were in one corner, not near the bed. That was very inconvenient and strange for hotel chain.Also you can go out to the parking from second floor, but not in. Somebody have to hold the door.

Location just 10 minute walk to town. Wonderful shower. Also very clean.

The breakfast was very poor. There was very little choice and what was there soon ran out. The worst breakfast we've ever had. Not worth €12.50 pp. Wouldn't even have had it if it was €2.50.

Clean, modern, basic room with eco conscious features.

An electric kettle or coffee maker in the room would be very helpful, especially for early morning departures when coffee and tea are not available downstairs.

The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast had everything we needed, although some might say the selection was quite limited. Overall I have a very good impression of this stay.
