Hôtel Montaigne

The room we were provided was an excellent size, it was a welcome change from some of the others we stayed at during our entire vacation. The room was clean and had lots of plugs and places to charge electronics. The renovations done to the room was excellent.

Bed was a bit on the stiffer side, but still comfortable enough to get a good night's sleep.

We liked everything. Our stay was great. Breakfast was very good for the price we had paid for. However we also don't mind paying more to have more choice of the breakfast too. Paid private parking facility was available for a very small fee and we had used it which was really worth it as the public parking located in front of the hotel is quite busy. Location was perfect to explore the town on foot. This region is full of charm with many interesting historical town and villages. When we return in the area, we will not hesitate to choose this hotel again. Highly recommended.

Great location, close to the main walking mall in Sarlat. The staff gave wonderful restaurant recommendations. The breakfast is very good, the rooms are very comfortable.

Very comfortable room. The,location was a nice compromise to being close enough to the train station and close enough to the medieval town.

The lobby sitting area was plain

Of all the places we stayed during our month-long trip to France, this was by far the most accessible for my son who uses a wheelchair. The shower and bathrooms were usable, and we were right on the edge of the city center, giving us easy walking access into town. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there is a public parking lot right in front of the hotel. (There are also outdoor trashcans for dirty diapers!)

Honestly, the only thing we would change would be the rain we experienced! We loved our time here and will absolutely stay again. No complaints whatsoever.

The hotel was very clean from top to bottom Wed di eat breakfast one morning only since we normally like to go out and try other places, but the breakfast was good with a nice selection. The staff were outstanding. As US citizens, speaking English, they were very conversant in English and over the top helpful. We had trouble with our rental car which took numerous phone calls, some in French and some in English. The ones in French the staff used our phones and interpreted for us. The location is fantastic for the main part of town, restaurants, markets, tours etc. One of the nicest places we have ever stayed.

Good sized rooms and excellent breakfast

Clean hotel in an excellent yet quiet location. Our apartment was very large and was recently updated. It even had 2 toilets and a small kitchenette.

The coffee maker didn't work

Excellent location, friendly and very helpful staff; as I had an issue with my rental car company they provided all the help they could. Highly recommended!
