Lovely quiet hilltop inn. Unexpected pleasant discovery

The location is perfect for sight seeing in Sarlat. The building and pool are very nice. The owner and staff are present and helpful. The parking is safe and on the property.

The rooms are tight and the sounds in adjacent rooms and hallways can be heard. The breakfast is good; however, the coffee service is very slow.

The rooms were clean and beds are comfortable. Ample free parking which would be difficult to obtain in the centre, Swimming pool was lovely to relax at each evening.Staff were exceptionally helpful and guided us to the highlights of the region.

Obviously the location is not ideal but you go there knowing that it is a 10 minute walk up a steep climb from Sarlat centre.The views are lovely though.

The location was excellent. We were there for five days, and were able to easily drive to a different part of the surrounding area each day. Christine was very helpful in planning our outings.

Madame Christine and her staff are fantastic. I enjoyed my stay very much. The location is out of the fray of central Sarlat. I also enjoyed the pool with perfect temperature and super clean. I will return when I have the chance.

This is the most magical place we have been since we arrived to France. Is a very charming and cozy place, a lot more than what we expected. Has the most wonderful views of the country side, we wished we could stay longer. Everybody here is so nice and helpful, we could find new places around this area that took our breath away. If you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy, walking to the city just 6 minutes away please stay more than one night.Is my favorite hotel by far. Thank you all for your delicious breakfast and all the good vibe that you had with any of us

I loved everything

Christine is a very good hostess. Nothing too much trouble. Excellent breakfasts prepared carefully with local ingredients. Rooms spacious and clean. The pool was in a good location and very clean. This is an outstanding small hotel. I recommend it without reservation.

In Sarlat the taxis do not pick you up from the station to take you to your hotel. They will not take you to the Sarlat railway station from your hotel in Sarlat either. They don't make enough from these short trips, so they don't help you. There is no lift at the hotel, so luggage must be carried to your room

The room is up a flight of stairs. The railing was not adequate as the steps were narrow

Our host was very gracious and welcoming. She also provided excellent information about dining and sites to see. The location was perfect for walking to Sarlat so we were able to keep driving to a minimum.

Beautiful house about a lovely 10 min walk into Sarlet (uphill back !) Tastfully furnished .Superior room was large and bright . Shutters kept the room dark at night . Bed super comfy . Plenty of lighting options for reading etc.Pool area was wonderful, however due to the weather we did have not much of a chance to use it. Maybe next time!

We thought that the breakfast was rather overpriced.

Pool and lounge area was outstanding, room was large, property was very quiet at night and during the daytime. The property owner was super informative. You can walk to the center of Sarlat in 13 minutes.

Superb hotel in an excellent location a short walk from Sarlat old town.Christine is an excellent host & provides a delicious breakfast which is made up of local products & her own homemade cakes.She is also extremely helpful if you need any assistance & goes out of her way to ensure you are ok.

The hotel director, Christine, was absolutely incredible! She was so kind, spoke very good English, and had incredible knowledge of the area and great recommendations. We originally weren’t going to partake in breakfast because of a food allergy, but the hotel was able to handle it, and breakfast was one of our favorite parts of everyday. There is also a beautiful pool on site. The location by downtown Sarlat was great. It was so easy to access great restaurants and shops.

Beautiful, very friendly, delicious breakfast, quiet, very nice Pool, very clean, we come back next year for a longer Team

Everything Perfect

Christine was an AMAZING host. She could not have been more helpful or kind - she even picked me up and took me back to the train station. The other ladies that worked there too was so helpful and funny. The breakfast was delicious! Home-made cakes every morning. The pool was heavenly! The location is soooo quiet and peaceful. The town of Sarlat is one of the most beautiful towns I have ever visited. Lots of street entertainment in the evening and amazing buildings. The perfect base if you want to explore the Dordogne. I will 100% be returning to this amazing hotel.

Beautifully kept , quiet and peaceful but with easy access to busy Sarlat.

The pool was not very clean, the property is tired and could do with an update and some maintenance. The hotel is only 600 meters from the old town but it is all down hill!
