Square Hôtel

Great location and a super restaurant downstairs. Rooms had no aircon and so were stuffy in the height of summer. An added bonus was a secure parking spot for a motorbike.

Breakfast was not worth the price, better places around the square. I would however stay again as the price was good for the location.

Room was 100% clean with all the bits. The next door restaurant (all part of the same outfit) was poor. The underground parking in front of the hotel was around £6 for the night. The check in girl was very helpful and polite.

Done research on decent restaurants. For an overnight stay in town it did the job.The mattress and my back were not compatible!

A good comfortable clean room on floor 1.

The restaurant clean up staff played loud music when cleaning up till gone 1 am in the morning. I had a long ride the following day and did not appreciate being kept awake by the music and crashing sounds

The whole property smelt like an ashtray. Our room smelt like a combination of ashtray and terrible damp, I was almost sick upon entry. The bathroom was fairly clean but the bed had not been changed since the last person, it was full of hairs and didn’t smell fresh. There was stains, we had to sleep on top of the bed using the clean towels as covers. We had to have the doors open all night because if the smell which was then incredibly noisy.

Good sized room located on the opposite side of the Square Park from the city center.

We chose the hotel because they said they had parking. But when we arrived they said we can park for free overnight on the street or park at the city parking lot for 9.95€ for 24 hours.☹️

Great location, and private parking for the motorcycles was a bonus!

Wi-Fi non existent did not work AT ALL! Pillows were lumpy and either flat or hard, and the bedsheet was so bobbly it was uncomfortable.

The location is close but the hotel doesn't deserve a 7.6

They kept the sheets from the previous customer, they just arranged it as it's unused but unfortunately the hair of the previous client was on the pillow and in the bed. The bathroom was rusty and there was hair too. There was no receptionist so I called, they told me to take the key of another room and see... The other room had the exact same problem... Very bad experience

Staff is really nice, hotel is clean and the location is great.

The bed sheets and towels were clean and there was a view into the square.

The room smelled so strongly of mould when I opened the door that I gagged. There was a visible patch of black mould above the door of the bathroom. The smell was not limited to the bathroom though, it was also in the bedroom and hallway.The bathroom door had huge holes in it as if someone had punched it from the inside and out.There is no air conditioning, which was an oversight on my part, and I don't deduct points for this point. I do think it's bad that I arrived at 10pm to a room with the windows and shutters closed when it had been 39°c during the day. Surely it would have been smart to leave the windows open to cool the room in the evening? It took hours for the room to cool down enough for me to sleep and I slept with the windows wide open to reduce the impact of the mould. There were inexplicably many flies in the bathroom around the sink. The bins were empty and i couldn't find any source, but it was really off-putting.on top of everything else.Finally, the housekeeping started hammering on my door 20 minutes before checkout, rudely telling me to leave. It was really unnecessary and odd.I hate to write anything but the positives, but this place was really disappointing. If I hadn't arrived so late I would have left and found somewhere else. I won't go back and don't recommend that anyone else does either.

Breakfast is based on sweets with no cheese or ham etc. You have to pay for extra.Pequeno almoço fraco. É servido como se fosse um café e é a base de doces. Tanto que tive que pedir queijo e fiambre e foi-me cobrado a parte.

I did like the wheel coming of the receptionist, but above that, was nothing to like.
