Pros +
- Great location for access to Blacktown, Rooty Hill etc. Friendly and helpful staff.
- Clean and in a great location.
- The unit was very spacious and very comfortable. The shower was good. Parking was great. Security was good. Nice and quiet away from busy roads. Aircon worked well with the option of a fan if you need it. Table and chairs with a small lounge. The only thing it doesn't have a microwave, but you can hire one.
Cons -
- We wanted to use the barbecues to feed 8 people, but were told we couldn't for bookings of less than 30 people.
- Parking is just horrible. There are big sporting events on and no dedicated parking for the accommodation. Be prepared to walk a long way with bags.
- - One of the male staff members/receptionist was abrupt/rude

Very lovely stay beds were amazing the reception crew were great ?
Just didnt like the dryer in the laundry cost me $10 just to dry my load but that was the only downfall
wanted a location near our son who we were visiting - great facility, easy to find
Useful if there was a bit more crockery in the room so you can make your own breakfast (cereal) - had the kettle, fridge and cups so that was fine. If we had known there was nothing else we would have brought a couple more things with us. We didn't use the facilities there, but it was really good. Gates were locked at night (opened using room key) so nice and safe. Also, very quiet from a traffic point of view.
The location was good as we were going to Sydney Zoo. There was also good security with access to the property by swipe card after 9pm.
Having booked a Deluxe King room I found it a bit stark with no character. Despite there being two of us there was only one washer, one dessert spoon and two tiny capsules of milk., although they did provide some more at our request. I assume there was wi-fi but there was no directory at all in the room where one normally finds a password, nor were we given a password. (I used my phone hot spot). Attention to detail is something that management needs to address.
Location great - which is why we chose it... right next to sports field and sports centre where we were training / playing.
1) bed mattresses were all terrible - so soft, providing no body support - resulting in being so uncomfortable and over-heating that I had to sleep on the floor... which was a far better!!.Consequently, i believe we overpaid for what we were served i did let the receptionist know this whilst checking out and had no reply.Frankly, the mattresses are the worst i have ever experienced in a hotel and i really would like to understand how or who was allowed to purchase these for a hotel where sports and health are promoted and "provided" for? It was like lying on a sponge.2) the receptionist never explained how to access the internet and there was no reference to it in the room - if so, this would have been very helpful.3) Selling us a room for 4 people and then saying we were only allowed two room cards max is very short-sighted, especially when specifically asked for a deposit for the "key-cards"!! eventually, they provided a third key card
Big room. Clean and modern, comfy beds
No teaspoons, no iron, no microwave. Shampoo, conditioner and bodywash only enough for one person. We were four people.
The staff at the facility were exceptional. They could not do enough for you and always had a smile on their face. I would definitely recommend The Lodge at blacktown for any sporting group - amazing facility.
There was not a single thing that was not up to standard.
Big spacious room suitable for family. Tidiest place I’ve ever stayed in
For a family room, a larger fridge is definitely needed along with a table and more chairs for meals
The bed was exceptionally comfortable even though there was 2 X singles instead of 1 X double
Check in wasn’t overly friendly, the whole hotel is an obscure red, I should have researched better as I didn’t realise this was within a sporting complex. Lots of kids screaming, kicking balls, playing sports, being loud, right outside your window. Terrible car parking (everyone using it for sports!) and not even a teaspoon to stir your tea if you wanted one.
Amazing place to stay, extremely comfortable and clean. Amazing facilities and the breakfast is good value for your money! Staff were friendly and helpful! Location was a little hard to find but once found was great!
Spacious... Awesome comfortable bed . Location and Prices
No spoons in room to make coffee everything else for coffee but ... Was hair in bed .. and dirty make on-top of bed covers ...
I loved the location as we were playing sport and it was so close. I was disappointed to find out that they had no microwaves in the room but you could hire them and they did let us use the one in reception. I was also disappointed that the cafe was not open for dinner or that the BBQ’s were only allowed to be used if you were in a group
The location was great for what I needed.Beds were comfy.Shower was lovely.Room was big.
Bathroom had a little smell to it but was manageable.
the facility and location was lovely and rooms are spacious.
TV casting didnt work so couldn’t watch anything and the wifi kept disconnecting from the tv which made it hard to stream anything online.
I really liked the breakfast - getting a voucher for the cafe was great, and made the stay better. Also, the voucher was not for just an entry level meal. The bed was very comfortable, however next time I'll pay more attention to the room I'm booking, as I ended up with single beds.
Mobile service was woeful, and whilst that isn't the fault of the hotel, by the time I realised there was no one around and no instructions/password for the WiFi. Having travelled for work, this was kinda crucial.
Sunday & week night rates are very reasonable but that's only if you are prepared to forgo a microwave, toaster or iron (which I have found to be standard inclusions in other facilities). The venue is close to a bus stop.
I stayed 2 nights Saturday & Sunday. And for the Saturday price I was very disappointed. Yes, it was the weekend & this motel is in a sports precinct but it was very noisy in the motel area. People yelling, doors slamming etc. The rooms do not have microwaves, irons or toasters. Microwaves can be hired for an additional charge!!!
The breakfast was delicious and filling however it would have been cheaper if we ordered on the day instead of paying with the room booking. The staff were friendly and the cafe was spacious and open.
The only thing I didn't like was the fact I paid $38 per person and would only have spent $30 each for breakfast.
