    • cleanliness of premises
    • Close the CBD Blacktown and good facilities next door
    • Location & price.

    Cons -

    • Environmental Plastic tasting mugs for tea and coffee in room.We decided to buy crockery ones from supermarket for personal use during our stay.
    • Smoke Alarm going off at 7am due to smoker in room, no fault of the property
    • The single bed flipped up when I sat on the side. It was reported to the manager that the bed had flipped up & the mattress slid away jarring my back leaving me on the floor. The bed was incorrectly placed around the wrong way. The wheels at the bed head end are much closer together than the bed end wheels, allowing the bed to overbalance and flip when sitting on it's edge?

Room - Neat, clean, modern, nice and large - Could do with a larger table for those working (laptop) But thats not an issueBed - VERY Comfortable & large - Fantastic !Breakfast - The best !!!!!!! 10/10

:) If anything........ The lift is very slow. Is that a complaint? No...But I couldnt think of anything else.

    Nothing really

Main aircon not working replaced with loud portable unit which was VERY loudPortable unit was vented to an open window which let in more heat than the cooling could beat. Only 2 towels in the room for a booking for 3, most hotels stuff that up. Additional requested bed not provided, though I don't think charged for. Hand soap was empty, body was almost empty. Self check-in sucks. It wanted us to pay an add-on for breakfast even though included in booking. Substandard room condition for Mecure brand, barely Ibis standard. Maybe not the fault of the hotel but the fire alarm at 7:30am was a rude wake up. Never staying here again.

Restaurant and bar next door and staffs were very friendly.

I had booked in advance and when I went to check in the receptionist said give your credit card for bond and I advised her I don't own a credit card. She then advised my booking will be canceled. I panicked and ran to my husband to give his credit card. It was very stressful situation for me at that moment.

Great place to stay you have the workers club right there the food is great and reasonably priced the staff set-up a room in the buffet area for my sons birthday breakfast which was fantastic all the staff were friendly would highly recommend staying at the Mercure Sydney Blacktown.

This was our second stay at the Mercure hotel, my husband and I booked it both times for its perfect location to get into Sydney .The hotel staff are very polite, friendly and helpful and above all professional! On our previous trip we stayed for two weeks and got to know the staff and cleaners quite well, this could be a home from home. Also, you get access to the working men's club next door.

    Nothing . All good.

The front reception staff were excellent and the carparking was sufficient

The disabled bathroom in my room was not to my liking, I'm not disabled! I paid for a room upgrade and in hindsight would have preferred the smaller bedroom with a normal bathroom. The bed making was not up to standard, the sheet did not reach the end of the bed and each morning I would pull the sheet off thinking the person would fix and it was never fixed. Each morning the top sheet was just pulled tight to cover not actually making the bed. The room was dirty and not cleaned properly as there was a dead cockroach in the room that stayed there the entire stay, and a previous tenants moisturizer on the floor, so that would tell me the room was not vacuumed once during my stay. the pillows were way to soft and the bed hard, so I ended up with a sore back and stiff neck after my stay. The breakfast if you had to pay the full price was not good value, the fact I got it as an upgrade made it serviceable, I did not like the option of pasta for breakfast, it was as if the kitchen tried to use leftovers from dinner, very weird. The option for poached or fried eggs over scrambled would have been a nice option to have.

Location and workers club next door

Staff were friendly enough but their service was just ok. Didn’t work too hard or go out of their way.

Staff were amazing and very friendly and helpful. Close to the event we were attending, rooms were very reasonable and cleaned daily..

Low water pressure in the shower, would have loved a toaster in the room. Bin liners in the bins, complememtry water bottles especially for guests that are staying for a long time as we did for 8 days

    Poor

Aircon way too loud. Sound like it was broken . Move me to another bedroom, but only had a single bed.

    1JoshPosted on: 1-19-2026

    Room was comfortable and clean

My credit card was skimmed at the venue as it’s the only place I have used it. I then recieved a call at 1:30pm saying I had an outstanding balance from a Sydney number that was not the Motel. My card details were stolen from using the card at your premises and I will never be back.
