- Breakfast was not bad.
- Due to a cancelled flight , I arrived four hours late at nearly 2am. Their friendly night porter saw me arrive and ran down to help me park, safely lock the car park and then booked me in and saw me to my room. Wonderful. All the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Breakfast was fab Coffee even fabber! Lovely pool and hot tub.I was there two nights and would happily stay again. Palamos is a great town with lively shops bars and restaurants.....Less "touristy" than the usual resorts which is to be recommended. A genuinely delightful charming building and grounds, kept spotlessly clean by all the hard-working staff.

Cons -
- We stayed at this hotel for one night, choosing it because of its high rating. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing.First of all, parking was a major issue. The hotel’s parking area is very small and was completely full. There were no spaces nearby either, so we had to drive around for a long time. Getting to the city center by car was also difficult because of the parking situation, and walking there takes quite a while as the hotel is located quite far from the center.Secondly, the sleeping conditions were very uncomfortable. The room had only one small bed with a very hard mattress and just one sheet. When booking, I requested two beds, but this was not taken into account. Sleeping under one small sheet for two people was extremely inconvenient. At the very least, an extra sheet could have been provided. The shower in the room also worked poorly. As for breakfast: the food itself was decent for a three-star hotel. However, the seating arrangement was disappointing — each table was marked with a room number. Although the dining room was half-empty with plenty of nice tables available by the windows, our table was set up in the most inconvenient spot, right at the entrance in the passageway.Overall, the stay was not comfortable. If you value a good night’s sleep and easy access to the city center, especially if you are traveling by car, this hotel will most likely disappoint you.
- It was all great
- Nothing to dislike !

Nothing to dislike !
We were in Palamos for a wedding in the area and we had an excellent time at hotel Sant Joan. The room was comfortable, quiet and clean. The hotel is a family business that did an amazing job helping us with some request we had to prepare for the wedding we were attending. We also enjoyed the swimming pool and hot tub. The hotel has a nice and lovely restaurant that we enjoyed once, it offers great food for very reasonable price. Breakfast was great with enough variation to choose from in the restaurant of the hotel. The hotel has a parking from which you can then reach amazing beaches in the area.
Not a single thing. It was just great.
Great set up with nice clean rooms, pool & relaxing garden area. Nice looking bar/restaurant (although check opening days for dinner). Lovely breakfast. The winning ingredient though has to be the service. What lovely people - so helpful & informative.
Wonderful family-owned hotelThe breakfast was amazing, with homemade jams and so much choiceIf you stay here, you really should try the restaurant too. Really delicious and we had a homemade local speciality cake for dessert. One of the best hotels I have stayed in
A hotel that is managed with love by the owners. Quiet rooms and a very good restaurant.
Super cute place. The owner put effort into details to make the place unique and charming. She was very delightful always there to answer questions and to make sure we’re having a pleasant stay. Also the breakfast is 10/10 everything fresh and in season ? Also super nice choice for cyclists!
A very welcoming family hotel. The breakfast is excellent, the garden with pool and jacuzzi was a beautiful place to rest after a bike ride. We look forward to coming back with Pyrenees Cycling Club
Breakfast, location, staff
Amazing friendly staff with good english. They had great restaurant recommendations.Included breakfast was quick and tasty and good value. Far enough from city centre to be quiet and relaxed but close enough for an easy walk in.
Attentiveness of hosts, the evening sanctuary in the garden and an absolutely exceptional restaurant. Breakfast was generous, fresh, local. Very well done! I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone needing to visit this region.
Loved the customer attention, the breakfast, the swimming pool area and the beaty of the hotel. They are all great!
It's a hotel in an old country house and therefore the rooms are not free of the noise from the stairwell or other rooms if the other guests are not quiet.
Breakfast was amazing. Room was awesome. Very comfortable. Friendly staff. Pool on site and jacuzzi. 9 free parking spaces available first come first served. Would really recommend this place.
The staff were friendly and welcoming and the hotel was clean. The breakfast was fresh.
The room decor was dated, with an air conditioner that wasn’t able to cool the room (it was 30 degrees on the day we visited). The room we had didn’t look like the ones in the photos on the website. The location wasn’t central, with a 10-15 minute walk to the beach and restaurants. For what we paid (136 Euros), I didn’t consider this good value.
The place was great! We arrived a bit late but notified them and they were very understanding. The people running the place are super friendly, all of them. The room was spacious, with a nice shower/bathtub, very comfy bed, big wardrobe with a safe inside, a mini fridge (super convenient for hot summer days) and the mojitos they prepare are amazing. The breakfast is also great, with nice pastries, good variety of breads, great variety also of fruits, very nice. The original house (la masia) is beautiful and they managed to maintain it in great shape, modernising it without loosing its origins. The garden and outdoor area is very well maintained, massive citronella candles that they light at night (I loved them, they smell amazing and keep the mosquitos away, I didn't get a single bite during my entire time at the hotel). The pool is great too, Costa Brava beaches are amazing but its nice to have a quick dip in the pool when waking up or later in the evening.
this is a fantastic hotel. we had the room with the grand terrasse. very friendly staff. good parking space. breakfast was fine and dinner too.
The owners were soo lovely. They gave us advise on where to eat, booked us a taxi and allowed us stay in our rooms later than check out. It was a lovely hotel with a fabulous atmosphere
We had an absolutely amazing stay! We stayed for 5 days and every day was fantastic. The atmosphere, the nice garden with relaxing pool & jacuzzi, the AMAZING (!!!) restaurant, etc...You see, we really, really loved it there! 100% recommended!
Nothing, we loved everything. What a hidden gem!
Everything- the location, the bedrooms, the garden and pool, the restaurant. They even cooked vegan food for us.
