Hotel Port-Bo

The hotels location was great, near all the shops, beaches and restaurants.Everything as spotlessly clean and tidy. The cleaning staff were friendly as were the staff at breakfast.The breakfast spread was phenomenal!! I have never had such choice and it was beautifully displayed every morning.

It was very dated but this did add to the charm and it felt well loved.We felt it unnecessary for the pool to have constant water jacuzzi bubbles/massage taps on all day. It made the pool area a bit noisy and must take so much electricity!! The pool however was so clean.

So I don't normally eat breakfast, but this hotel had the most amazing included breakfast of any hotel I've ever experienced. AMAZING. Also, the hotel was just wonderful. Rooms were clean and comfy, pool was delightful, location couldn't have been much better. Would stay here every time.

Second time staying here and already booked the 3rd for next month. It's just an extremely well-run, simple hotel. Clean rooms, great staff and a wonderful breakfast buffet (king prawns, anyone?!). So quiet and yet so close to stunning Calella. My favourite place to stay.

Orange juice is a sugar added variety and decaff coffee is not good quality. Minor things.

No vending machine available, no Coffee, no mini pool as stated on hotel facilities, too far away from airport 103 euros for taxi, pillow uncomfortable

The breakfast was great, and the staff was helpful, especially the lady helping us with the breakfast was very joyful and had a smile that made our day. Our room was great, and it exceeded our expectations. The location was a 5-minute drive away from the bus station. The hotel is a 5-minute walk away from the sea.

Port- Bo is a unique, very comfortable hotel with the best breakfast buffet on offer. So generous and the staff are very helpful . The position is so close to the beach and fabulous restaurants. It is quite retro and old world but immaculately kept. On all the walls are tapestry's that were created by the family's Grandmother. Whatever we needed extra pillows or blankets were provided with ease. The pool was fantastic and lots of sun lounges to enjoy. David and Adrian were very helpful and informative. We would definitely stay there again.

It is a lovely hotel, with a very friendly staff, especially the cleaners and the staff from the breakfast restaurant. The breakfast is wonderful!

Enjoyed the holiday but the hilly terrain would put me off returning

The area was very hilly with numerous steep climbs. Lack of places for light lunch (eg..toasted sandwiches) and bars (not operating exclusively as restaurants)

Fab location only a few minutes walk from the centre and beachfront. Breakfast was amazing. Our room had a sun terrace perfect for evening drinks. The staff were friendly and attentive. Lovely pool area.Free safes and fridge in room. Efficient A/C Onsite parking.

Being picky here - Lack of hotel bar/restaurant (other than for the amazing breakfast) A bit "echoey/noisy" when fellow guests were moving around their rooms or using the bathroom.

Great and diversified breakfast, very nice and helpful staff, room was big and clean, location was amazing, the sea views were the cherry on the top

For the paid price, I had expected a more modern room, but even so, I couldn't actually complain. One thing that did bother me was the cracking sounds from outside the room, no idea where they were coming from, it made sleeping a bit difficult.
