good breakfast, excellent location, staff very good

would prefer a bed made up as proper king bed with king duvet and sheet. The twins kept coming apart and didn't like single duvets and sheet

Ideal location and restaurant/bar on the beach. I felt at home immediately.

Cost was high, but it was a last minute booking on a hot summer weekend.

The bath tub is a potential hazard. I would prefer just to have a shower, no tub.

The location of the hotel was first class , the staff were very friendly & accommodating, you can literally go from your bedroom to the beach in two minutes we swam each morning followed by a delicious healthy breakfast - highly recommended !

There was a great choice at breakfast, the property was also very clean and the staff very helpful and friendly.

The staff were absolutely delightful and location amazing. The bed was incredibly comfortable and breakfast was delicious. It was peaceful and we had a great night’s sleep. Only wish we could have stayed longer!

A simple, beachfront, small family hotel run by Anna & Susan. Nothing too much trouble.

When trying to work out where to go on our first child-free holiday in over 20 years, it took us less than 20 seconds to decide on a return to Hotel Tamariu. To say it hadn't changed would be to do it a disservice. The rooms.have been upgraded, the furniture refreshed, it's been kept in great condition but some things definitely haven't changed. The important things. The outstanding service from all the staff; the effortless friendliness; the wonderful breakfasts overlooking the cove; the vibe in the hotel. It's just perfection.And Tamariu hasn't changed either. A bit busier maybe, but the beaches are clean, the water is crystal clear and perfect for swimming in, the restaurants are (on the whole) excellent and good value. And Catalans still outnumber the tourists.

Disappointed we couldn't stay longer. We definitely won't leave it another 20 years before we return.

Wonderful location, lovely rooms and fantastic breakfast!

Very clean and the staff exceptionally friendly. The room was great with a balcony at the side giving sea views. Lovely snacks and the restaurant was right on the promenade a stone’s throw from the sea. Great place to have breakfast. Easy to get to and unload luggage. Three star but in truth, first class.

The hotel is on the promenade to the beach and room 211 has a side view of the sea and a view of the town. The breakfast is continental and of good quality.The times are excellent and allows you to have a lie in without missing out.We found the staff excellent and very helpful. We paid to have our car garaged . It was only a two minute walk away.We found the weekends to be very lively from visitors and the locals but during the week it quietened down. We stayed in May .

The hospitality was excellent from the moment we walked in the door. The staff was friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the variety of choices at breakfast. The space is comfortable and has a spectacular view.
