Novotel Perpignan

I stopped here on my way to and from Spain with my dog. The staff was amazing and both of us felt very welcome. There was space outside for a walk, the hotel was exactly what I needed - hence booking it for the return journey also. I will be back next year when I make the same trip.

The hotel is getting older so some of the rooms are a bit tired. I did not really care as we were made so welcome and the price was fair, so who cares.

The room was clean and the staf was extremely friendly

The only thing that concerned us because we have 2 dogs that the gate was open all day.They shut it at 11 o clock in the evening.There is a busy road after the gate.In other novotels like Valence the gate only opens when a car gets in or out.

Definitely not a 4 star hotel. Equivalent to a Premier Inn.

Air conditioning didn’t work properly. Only 3 coat hangers in the roomRestaurant very basic food. View from my window was a full skip. Electronic room key lost its programming on a daily basis.

Close to Perpignan airport and easy to find from motorway. Good size room with proper opening window. Very comfortable bed.

Restaurant was closed. Didn’t know that till we got there and had no idea of area so too late to seek out a restaurant. Wish they didn’t take dogs. We did hear barking from nearby room. One couple had 2 large dogs there…..no!

We stayed here as we drove through France to Spain. It’s just before the boarder so was a perfect location for us.

Breakfast isn’t great for what you pay. And dogs barking early hours of the morning isn’t ideal.

Great swimming pool.Good food at the restaurant. Nice gardens.

Quite isolated. Not any other eating or drinking options nearby.

Kids play zone was great, couldn’t use the pool as the day was not the best for that. They were so kind to prepare a coffee for us before leaving at 3am

When the restaurant was closed, we took our own food from a restaurant close by but they did not let us eat on the tables and sofas that they have in the entrance. We had to eat the burgers on our beds. This was out of restaurant opening times.

Restaurant is not up to scratch with a rubbish menu. Staff all talking in the back, no service. My son was struggling with sitting still and no interaction from staff. We've found other places much better. We felt a nuisance

We drove to Perpignan and stayed at this hotel because it was also close to Le Barcarés where we were planning to visit Le Village de Noel. We stayed in a room for 4 and it was spacious and clean. The mattresses were hard which we loved. Breakfast was good with plenty of both salad and sweet options. The hotel is a 3 min. drive from a mall where you can find some big box stores.

The shower head support was broken. Other than that everything was fine.

We arrived late due to bad weather that delayed our ferry. The hotel staff welcomed us and provided a welcome hot food and drinks.

Novotel is part of the biggest Hotel group in France and known as a reliable 3Star Hotel with all necessary comfort.

Menu did not cater for vegetarians and was limited. Dining area was characterless. Lots of things ran out for breakfast. Bath was too high even for 6 footer. Macon Nord was a much better hotel.

The restaurant food is very good and very creatively presented. Well done Chef.

Separate toilet and bathroom.

Room was large clean and comfortable, with plenty of room for us and our large dog.There was a mini fridge, useful as we were carrying some of our food due to food allergys.Room is carpeted so our dog could move around with no fear of sliding.Staff on reception tried to help, but some language difficulty.

Kettle provided but only one English tea bag and milk pod. One bottle of water only for a double room.I asked for more at reception but was directed to the bar where they offered to make me a drink at extra cost.No gluten free or vegetarian options on the restaurant menu so we had to go out to eat.Breakfast selection was limited, when we stayed previously in September the breakfast buffet as much more varied.Again no gluten free options - not even cornflakes!
