Very friendly and super helpful staff! And the room was very nice.

Wifi didn’t work in our room, but we were able to use the Wi-Fi in the lobby and it was very comfortable.

The room was fine. Simple, clean with limited towels. Comfortable.

Hotel Cartier is a classic French hotel, squeaky clean and bright. Comfortable room and beds. Large, secure garage to park our bicycles for the night. Lovely breakfast. Central location in town,walkable to restaurants and shops. Friendly and helpful staff, I would return.

We got a family room, very quiet. It's close to the center, 5' walk.

Doors inside the room didn't work very well.

We chose this hotel on a whim and were delighted with it. The owner Michèl was so welcoming. His chef Jan was excellent and Annemarie looked after us very well at breakfast. We will definitely recommend it to our friends and will hopefully return.

everything. my wife and I were suffering from a severe cold. the concierge, Anna Marie was fantastic. she helped making me a breakfast tray, she brought extra towels, & did everything she could to make it better.

The hotel is metres from both the train and bus station in Quillan, which is a plus. The front desk staff are very helpful and the food in the on-site restaurant is very good. The restaurant and bar area is the most attractive and well kept part of the hotel. Be aware that most restaurants in the area close on a Monday, so on that evening you may find it hard to get a table in the hotel restaurant if you have not pre-booked.

The hotel is extremely old (and not in a quaint way), and everything inside the rooms is very, very run down and shabby. My brother and I had standard double rooms each the first night, and shared a two bedroom apartment the next night. All offered 1980's decor/bedding and furniture and were quite dark. It was extremely warm weather, but I didn't entirely trust the very old AC boxes in the rooms, which often spat out liquid at me! It was like getting old-hostel accommodation but at hotel prices.

Such helpful, kind staff. Fantastic location by parking, buses, village, routes to the Mediterranean by car/bus, local outdoor swimming pools across the road … fantastic place highly recommend!

No faults found in this clean and comfortable, traditional hotel, perfectly placed in an idyllic, picturesque old town, with ample, free parking opposite. The room was spacious and spotless, staff were very friendly and helpful, the bed comfortable and breakfast very good. Fabulous scenery for miles around.

Capitalist hotel, very cold welcome, terrible room

The lady at the reception and the owner were rude and unfriendly. Never a smile. Only thinking about making money. We had to go down 3 times to ask for the internet code as they kept giving us a incomplete code . Only the employee at the bar was kindly trying to help. We asked for a boiler to make some hot water as we were a bit sick and we got told that for this service we had to take a more expensive room. The hotel is situated in a super noisy main road. The room we had was small, caustrofobic, extremely basic. The room was full of mosquitos (over 20!).. 70€ for such a room is a robbery in my opinion.

Air-conditioning was good. Quite nice view from room. Good location and easy parking nearby.

Decor was dated and tasteless. Aged carpet tiles smelt musty. Pillows soft and lumpy.

Stay was great, The staff was friendly and knowedgeable. II wull stay here again when in Quillan.
