Visited during Carnival, so room rates were several times higher than normal. Basic, clean functional hotel. Elevator worked. Friendly, helpful staff. Small rooms and bathrooms. No storage room for baggage. A/C and bathroom worked. Included breakfast was basic, and the same every morning.
The property was close to many tourist sites.

Cons -

The wifi wasn't working quite well
Location is a bit dodgy, especially at night. Few restaurants open at night in the area. Not much to see or do within walking distance of hotel.
The mattress was very hard.
