S´Estancia Suites

Our StayOver many years we have holidayed in hotels in many different countries. And many more through work.However, over the last two years, two were in Es Mercadel, one of the many pearls found on the beautiful island of Menorca. This time we were extremely lucky to come across a new gem S’Estancia Suites.A base which is well located, central for the whole Island.Over our 17 days we experienced:A small great hotel , fantastic value for money:The management and team brilliant.The ambiance truly Menorcean. Room facilities excellent.Cleaning of rooms most unobtrusive.Cleanliness impeccable.Breakfast superb: varied daily: serving all local sourced products.Small clean pool great ambiance and well furnished.A great small team proved them selves to be: excellent/professional/ friendly/ efficient.Overall great environment with high standards. The decor of the hotel was modern and used natural products /materials. Much in keeping with the special ecological’Biospheric’ status of the island.In our opinion of all the hotels we visited best hotel experienced to date.

I recently stayed at this wonderful hotel in Es Mercadal and couldn't be more pleased with my experience. The staff's kindness and attentiveness made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The hotel's location, nestled in the heart of the island, is perfect for exploring all that the region has to offer. Es Mercadal itself is a charming and authentic village, offering a genuine taste of local culture. The variety of excellent restaurant options nearby made every meal a delight. Highly recommended for a memorable stay!

The rooms were perfect in size and comfort, with the outdoor space providing an amazing view of the surrounding area. The staff were both friendly and helpful.Would highly recommend.

Beautiful hotel and the staff do everything they can to help you, including many great suggests on what to see to see the real Menorca. We will definitely be visiting again.

Menorca offers a wide range of possibilities regarding hosting options, including all types of hotels and its locations. S'Estancia Suites is not an obvious choice, since it is a small hotel located in a city that is not the most touristic city of the island (Es Mercadal), but we are highly pleased with our stay. S'Estancia team goes far and beyond to make you feel at home and this small hotel offers comfortable and very well decorated suites with comfy beds and high quality linen, towels, etc... making the island experience relaxing and pleasant. They offer a nice breakfast with local products and the hotel also has a pool, that I must confess we did not enjoyed because we preferred going to the beaches. And here is something to take into account if you are planning to visit Menorca: the island is not that big, but you will enjoy the most if you have a car (there is a public parking in front of the hotel), and will be really convenient to rent a car while you are in the island, so you can visit different cities, beaches and other spots (do not miss the lighthouses). If you are planning to go to a hotel and to stay around it all your time, probably Es Mercadal is not the place for you. But if you are planning to know the island, to explore its cities and beaches and to return every day to a hotel that feels like home, you may consider to book S'Estancia. You will not regret! The team is fantastic. The tips they gave are precious... and you may borrow all you need to enjoy a sunny day at the beach (including beach chairs). And to be fair I have to say that although Es Mercadal is not a city with many touristic attractions, there are nice dining options and you do not have to leave the city to have nice tapas, pizzas or ice creams... the city center is very nice and have good options. We loved our stay... and recommend it to everyone who value its money!

The hotel is new, modern and well maintained. The room was a good size, and it was nice to have the terrace looking onto the pool. Lots of choice in the breakfast buffet with different local specialities every day, and all the staff were very helpful and friendly. Good location too - 5 minutes' walk to the centre of town, and opposite two big car parks, so always somewhere to leave the car.

The only thing that bothered us was that the bathroom is open plan with the bedroom. The toilet and shower doors open into the main room, the shower doesn't have hooks or shelves for towels and clothes, and the bathroom sink is an island facing into the room. As friends traveling together, we personally would have preferred to have the privacy of a separate bathroom.

Very beautiful decorated, lovely and energetic staff. We completely felt at home. The rooms have everything you could wish for, are spotless and well equipped. Good breakfast with a lot of choice

Nice localisation, in the middle of the island so very easy to go everywhere.Very very good breakfast!

Some rooms are in front of the street so a little noise sometimes.

The hotel is very beautiful, decorated with great taste. Which makes you feel good there. The pool is also nice.In addition, Léon contributes greatly to ensuring that the stay goes wonderfully. In particular by making, every day, recommendations for outings to do near the hotel. He is one of the receptionists most devoted to his work. It shows when a person enjoys doing their job. This creates a pleasant and peaceful atmosphere.

The room when you arrived was not cleaned. We had to wait until the next day for the cleaning lady to come and do it. We had a free bottle of champagne for the inconvenience. Only we would have preferred to change rooms instead. In addition, the room has a lot of faults (many stains on the wall, the curtains, the seal of the very dirty shower wall and the wall which separates the shower and the sink is full of mold at the bottom, broken mirror) which , added to that, does not put you in the best conditions.In addition, the housekeeper loses her hair a lot in our opinion, since at each of her visits, many black hairs were present, everywhere.Regarding the breakfast, we could eat almost nothing salty since more than half of the proposals were meat and we do not eat meat. It lacks tomato, avocado, salmon.Finally, it is a pity that the swimming pool is not very sunny.

The rooms are really confortable and its decor is simple and beautiful. The staff is polite and welcoming.

Great hotel,brand new,with beautiful design,very good location in the middle of the island and convenient to reach out to the beaches.Personnel were super nice and Leon is the highlight of the hotel.Very helpful,he accomodated all put needs.

Great breakfast, lots of local artisan products to try. Perfect location in the centre of the island made it ideal for getting out and about to see the island.

Couldn't really fault anything, would love to return to Menorca and would stay here again when we do.

The staff! We had the best holiday thanks to Leon, Paqui and Raul. The hotel is located in a very convenient location in the middle of the island, making the daily commute time to the beach easier. The rooms were beautiful and the breakfast was delicious.
