HOTEL TORRENT

Extremely clean, well-maintained hotel with friendly and helpful staff. We stayed in the "private patio" double, which had a great secluded feel. The roof patio is a wonderful spot with views to the water and comfortable seating options to relax and read or chat or snack.

I had a little discomfort with the pillows, but I'm annoyingly picky about these things. Otherwise just a great stay!

We liked everything about our stay at Hotel Torrent. Incredibly kind, attentive hosts. Clean rooms, great room service everyday, clean towels everyday. Quite location, close to restaurants, beach and shops. We were 2 adults and 1 teenager in a triple room and didn't feel cramped at all. Fantastic clean bathroom with great rain shower. Would definitely recommend, great value for money.

The window view

The room had a balcony you could sit out on, and right down the street was the shore. From there, it's a beautiful walk along pedestrian paths to the Empuries -- just follow the shore. The (surcharge) breakfast was beautifully laid out, with outstanding variety of pastries and staples -- and was fun to eat. Lobby was stylish, reception desk was friendly and professional.

There wasn't anything to sit on in my room other than the bed. (I suppose I could have brought in the chair from the balcony.) Lobby could use more warm lighting -- felt cold at times.

The hotel has friendly owners, is exceptionally clean, very well located, comfortable overall and has a lovely room terrace.

It would have en great to have tea / coffee making facilities in the room or in lobby. As the owners are not there all the time it was disappointing not to be able to get a hot drink unless they were around. It would have been good to have some drawers in the room also

The room tho basic was clean and pretty comfortable tho the bed had a very firm mattress. The location in the old atmospheric part of town a few blocks from the pretty harbor is great. The fellow who checked us in was very friendly snd helpful. We had asked for 2 separate beds but the maid made up one large one by mistake. The bed was so large tho that we kept the room as it had a more spacious layout. The price was very reasonable. We were able to find free parking not far away on the street. It was a good option for our one night stay.

The bed could have been more comfortable. There are two lications andcwe did not see the small sign about looking for the staff a few doors down. So we waited for 10-15 for him to come back for our check in. A phone at desk to call over to second location or better sign would be helpful.

Great hotel. Very friendly staff to welcome me and even let me check in early as I arrived early. Rooms were spotless and bright, it looked like it had recently been done up. Great sized room with a lovely little balcony.Ideal location, couple of minute walk to the cafes/bars/restaurants and to the beach.
