Pros +
- A tranquil retreat with gorgeous views and friendly staff. Would happily go back if ever in the area again.
- The sea view room was stunning and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. We stayed at 5 hotels throughout our trip and we think this tops the charts. It is clean, smells good, the linens are soft and the breakfast buffet is spectacular.
- Fabulous location, walked to dinner ,walked the coast on trail right out front for 8 miles. Beautiful area with a small sheltered beach with nice rocks right at the bottom of the stairs. This place gets a 10 for location
Cons -
- The pool and hot tub are less amazing than the rest of the facilities.
- It's dated. I get it. For this prime real estate, you can't have everything, but I would update more furnishing throughout and get rid of the balustrade. The front desk was helpful and friendly, and the breakfast staff was kind and welcoming, but the bar staff was terrible. After a long hike, we just wanted to settle into the view with snacks and drinks but were treated rudely, not once but twice. This place needs an infinity pool and a serious wellness update but for the price....it's good to go! Comfortable beds and outdoor lounge area.
- The room was not too kept up too well - the bathroom door wasn’t closing fully and some stains in the shower. Also, the barmen were young guys who could only make the few drinks on the menu. For an hotel like Vistabella, they could have got some better trained bar people

Exceptional food, service and ambiance. Great beach. Great view. Roses is breathtaking. The highlight was the service. Bravo. Can’t wait to be back.
The views from the rooms and the location of the hotel are incredible. The stuff was outstanding. The service everywhere was outstanding

Shower in bath tub
Staff and location were amazing. Views were stunning. Amazing service
Gym was very outdated and small but that’s just me being picky haha
Great sea view
The restaurant boss was rude and dismissed my reservation over someone else who came in. Worst I was standing there when he did it
The position of the hotel is sensational. We stayed 2 nights our meal in the Mila restaurant was ok nothing fantastic to write about and we found the availability for customers to be able to smoke put us off and we had to move indoors to have our dessert. The second night we dined in els Brancs the ambience overlooking the bay was divine, the service was brilliant and the food was very good.
The smoking in the Mila restaurant
Excellent location, very friendly and efficient staff, breakfasts were very good
Only getting two bottles of water for 4 nights stay, having to pay for coffee capsules, not what you would expect from a 5 star hotel
Beautiful location with access to a little beach with great snorkeling. Complimentary valet parking and beach umbrellas and snorkeling sets. Jawad in the dining room was excellent and the valets are great
This is definitely not a 5 star hotel. The rooms are outdated with cheap decor, our sea view room was on the ground floor so people could pass by the room whenever which gave us little privacy and there is very little shade which makes it difficult to enjoy the terrace in the late afternoon. They also make you pay for coffee pods in the room for 2.50€ each which I have never seen in any hotel let alone a 5 star hotel. We ate at the hotel restaurant the first night and it was the worst meal of our trip by far. The location is stunning and they have an excellent wine list but the seafood was tasteless. We ate at the nearby Michelin starred Castell de Peralada the next day and infinitely better. Lastly, I accidentally booked a room for one person but when we arrived they asked us to pay a supplement for the second person which was fine but they asked for 60€ per night which seemed high. I later checked their website and every room category charged 32€ for a second person. When I brought this to their attention they changed it but if I hadn’t looked they would have charged us double their listed price.
Amazing views and exceptional staff.
I took my mother to celebrate her birthday, but she uses a walking stick and struggles with stairs….there were A LOT and limited lift access and no handrails. It meant she could not enjoy any of the facilities which we came here for. They could easily add handrails or description on the website to make access easier or lack of access clear. After I got my hire car back from the valet parking there was also a huge scrape in the alloy wheel which I didn’t see until I got back home. Cost me an additional €400 making the total cost of a single night with dinner and drinks €1100.
Acacian, food, staff
The view is amazing, the food in restaurant is great, the food in beach club is terrible we took ceazar salads, it was awful. There’s no dentist kit and vanity kit in the room for 400 euro per night, but you can ask and they’ll bring it. On the arrival day we came at 1pm, room wasn’t ready, we asked if we could have a lunch, they sent us ti the restaurant, at the restaurant they asked if we had a reservation, when at the end only three tables were booked. The last day we had room service and the tray with food next to our door was there till our departure.
Location, room design, attentive staff
Nothing just price
We were upgraded to an amazing room as a celebration for our anniversary. It was stunning. Absolutely loved running right from the hotel on the Cami de Rhonda trail! The breakfast spread was also top notch!
We had deep tissue massages. They asked if it was ok for a trainee to "observe" my massage and I said yes. My massage was great, however right after mine, my husband had his and the trainee did it and it was not very great at all. Not even a soft flush. He gave feedback to the therapist, but it didn't help much. We said something to the front desk and they were not very responsive, almost combative. The next day someone at the front desk asked to speak with us about it and she was very very nice and asked if there was anything we could do. Just difference in the employees I guess! This is our only complaint about our stay - everything else was perfect.
Great vew over the sea. Very comfortable beds.
Very old sport room. No towels, no water, no air on and very old ( from 80s) mashines
Amazing location right on the water. Tranquil and classy. Friendly and helpful staff.
The location, the view, the rooms, the property were all amazing. The staff were the most incredible helpful staff we had in all of Spain, maybe even the world. Can’t wait to go back
Food at the restaurant needs work. Lots of work. But the service and staff at the restaurant are great
Loved the views and great service. Also a fabulous wine cellar.
