Hotel Maritim 4 Superior

The hotel is in a great location and the view is good.

Unfortunately our room had an ant problem so we were a bit concerned about leaving our stuff around. Also the pool is very small and next to a bar so we didn't feel comfortable swimming while people were sitting there trying to eat their food.

Guests don’t have ability to regulate air conditioning. Must ask at front desk for it to be set at desired temperature

Uncomfortable beds. Nowhere to put anything. We felt cramped.

Breakfast was quite good.Swimming pool is small but the beach is very close to the hotel so it is not a problem.Room is fine, not bit but not small.

I did not like the noise in the morning caused by other guests.. Rooms are not perfectly isolated.

Good and renovated.

The balcony had lots of bugs. We could not enjoy it. Bugs come inside the room and started to kill one by one.

Air conditioning! We could not set it at our desired temperature. We wanted 23 ! Room was too warm and humid! Staff said they changed setting but they didn’t!

We liked that the room was bright and open. We got a room facing the water and it met our expectations. The facilities themselves were pretty. The breakfast was open to outside with options and good value. They also packed a picnic breakfast for us as we had to leave/checkout at 7:00am. The gentleman that are at the desk in the morning are cheery and helpful.

We arrived at 2:45 and our room was not ready yet. I thought that was a bit odd. They seem strict on the 3pm checkin. Wasn't a huge bother as we had a spot to sit and wait, but I would double check with that if you are arriving early.

The hotel is really very clean and very good service , the bar is very nice , breakfast fast is very very good , very good place to have a fast beach time

Beach front hotel with fantastic views and lovely ambience. I enjoyed the terraces and bar, the staff at the bar and lobby were very attentive and cordial.

The restaurant head master was very rude to me, I asked the staff if I could seat anywhere and they said yes, so I sat at a random table and he came in and basically kicked me out of the table in a very rude manner. Kept interrupting my dinner with papers to sign, asking me for my room number several times while I was eating. Ruined my dinner atmosphere completely and left me quite unsatisfied with the experience. The rest of the waiters and chefs were fantastic and very polite towards me the whole time.

A lovely and relaxing place to stay. Breakfast and Dinner were excellent and dining staff very friendly and attentive.

The small lamp in our room did not work. Informed reception and, very quickly, an electrician came to inspect it. However, it required a new switch which he said he would see too but nothing else happened during our three day stay. We expected that they at least try and change the lamp. Also, we did not like having the two lights placed directly over your head when in bed and found it very difficult to read with them as they were so bright.

Excellent location, brilliant sized room and very clean. Good quality WiFi. Staff were excellent when I had difficulty arriving - would highly recommend

Breakfast was excellent and the room overall was spacious. Also unlike in other hotels in Spain, the room was soundproof (we did not hear any of our neighbors)

Room was lovely with great sea view. Breakfast very good with lots of choice. Dinner was also very good. Pool very small. This hotel is in a great location directly across from the beach.

Tables in restaurant were too close together and made it awkward when bringing food back from buffet especially at busy times. We knew this was a pet friendly hotel but were surprised at the amount of dogs in the hotel. Didn't like having a dog in the room next door. Not good to hear barking early morning while on holiday.

Attitude of staff was poor, they don’t even give complimentary water being a 4* property

Stayed here in 2019. Since then they modernised the entire hotel. Great rooms, excellent breakfast. Direct in front of the beach and near to the city center. I loved staying here and will be back in the future

Unfortunately there is only a small pool on the front terrace. The outdoor parking is not so great but at least they have one

The location is amazing, close to the beach, beautiful ocean view from the balcony of our room, it really can’t get any better.

The beds are a little hard but I guess that is a personal preference

Best looking hotel on the block, room with sea view.Took evening meal which was a buffet and very nice and good value.Booked further night in same room but breakfast only so as to sample local places.Recommend boat trip to Cadaques...blue boat.Staff were all cheerful and professional.

Not sure about dogs in hotels but the ones that were there were discreet.No blooming teaspoons at breakfast...reported to reception but I don't think they got it.

Our room was clean, fresh towels and bed made up daily. Hotel is right in front of the beach and about 10min walk away from the city centre. Free bottle of water on the first day, coffee and tea and a small fridge in our room. The pool area was also a nice place to chill with a glass of wine, nice tunes playing in the background. Relaxing.

We aren’t big eaters in the morning, you don’t get the option to not have breakfast, expensive for a coffee and a croissant but if you enjoy a big breakfast, plenty of options to choose from.

Good location right on the beach. Half board option was very good great selection at breakfast & dinner.Modern clean room with.a good shower and toiletries.Nice friendly staff on the bar and front reception Private gated parking.

Too warm.in the communal.areas very hot in the restaurant air con didn't seem to be on.The Maitre de in the restaurant was the most unwelcoming and miserable man ever. Constantly staring at everyone eating didn't say hello or goodbye a Smile costs nothing in any language.
