    Pros +

    • Great location along the canal walking distance from the historic town. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Each room has a patio overlooking the pool and garden. Free parking available.
    • AC
    • Bikes store and hardware near by

    Cons -

    • Door lock was an issue. Needed to be locked , otherwise it would open up.
    • Pool was too cold
    • It’s a bit away from the town centre, so we had to walk quite a bit to get meals, etc.. it was fine for us but not for anyone with mobility issues. There was a plastic-backed cover on the mattress topper, which made sleeping very hot. I removed it the second night. The hotel does not provide pool towels, which is a bit ridiculous given many people travel from far away and don’t have space for towels in their luggage.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was large by French standards and the pool was lovely and refreshing.

Very friendly family-run hotel. Clean room, comfortable beds, nice breakfast. Owners provided helpful advice about how to cycle to Saintes Maries.

    8GeorgePosted on: 10-9-2024

Good location very close to cycle path along canal; through supermarket parking lot. Great bicycle storage. Manager very helpful, set up water hose so we could wash mud off of our velos. Additional cost of breakfast was good value.

Multiple property names were initially confusing.

Large room with terrace, clean and comfortable. Free parking on site, friendly staff and good breakfast. Nice cat! Useful location as close to Super U and petrol station.

Slightly overpriced for quality of room, bathroom had no plug in sink and weak shower over bath. Bit noisy from road and people walking past as was on ground floor.

A very nice 3+ star hotel with a swimming pool 10 minutes walk from the railway station and main sightseeings. Warm welcome, spatious rooms, comfortable beds. A big supermarket just across the road. All necessary comfort including the air-condition.

    Wifi signal was not stable

    8LarisaPosted on: 7-12-2024

Good size room, clean bathroom, good swimming pool and good breakfast.

A bit noisy at night, but we slept with open window. Coffee was not good. The rest is prima.

    Good reading light, clean, quiet.

Don't think the door to the patio locked properly.Had to unplug the TV to turn it off for some reason.Bathroom had a bathtub without a plug.

friendly reception. garden outlook / patio. flexible housing of bicycles. clean and responsive - listening

    9AnastasiaPosted on: 9-24-2023

The pool is very nice and it has sun until late.

The room is nice and big but a bit old. It could do with a little renovation. Location wasn’t a problem as we had our bikes but it is a bit further away from the city.

    9NgocPosted on: 7-4-2023

The rooms felt cozy. Everything was nice and bright with beautiful trees around. It was quiet and the pool lends itself to relaxation.

    Nothing comes to mind.

    Total exploitation

I booked a one night stay with a no refund cancellation policy. The morning before we were due to arrive, we had a serious unexpected family emergency. While waiting in an emergency department I sent an email to booking.com requesting a waiver of the cancellation policy, considering the circumstances. Booking.com promptly replied telling me to apply directly to the hotel because they were the only ones in a position to waive the policy. This has happened to me once before several years ago and that hotel were so empathetic and lovely. They offered me a full refund or a an exchange night. I chose the latter and had a very pleasant stay a few months later. This hotel, however, was totally intransigent and made no such offer, despite the extraordinary circumstances. Surely, this is not the way to run a business and create goodwill

    6RebeccaPosted on: 6-7-2022

The hotel looks absolutely nothing like the picture on Booking.com, despite this, the location was convenient and the grounds made for a relaxing atmosphere.

The pool should have been open. Also, the reception closed down for a large part of the day and we had to wait until 4pm until they opened again.

the staff were so kind and helpful especially the manager

birds were nesting in the eaves and someone knocked all the nests down

    8Wanderwoman424Posted on: 5-19-2022

Ample parking, lounge chairs for outdoor seating. Good lighting in room. Air-con. good. Google led us to it, but, since we were looking for Noemys, or Mona Lisa, we were confused by the ROYAL HOTEL signs. All persons I had contact with were VERY helpful, polite, friendly. Small fridge in room. Very near Intermarche and Super U. Short drive into Aigues-Mortes, once the bridge is repaired (early June). Watched pool being cleaned and filled.

    Name of hotel fixed

    2VeronikaPosted on: 10-21-2021

The receptionist was helpful. She did try her best.

Although the staff was friendly and tried hard to accommodate our late arrival, the room was in a poor condition, untidy, the furniture shabby and after 800 km of route, impossible to have a shower - the water was only dripping from the head. During the night, the unnecessary and empty little refrigerator resonated and vibrated every hour or so, and we were happy to get up in the morning and drive away without breakfast.
