Posada San Vicente offers a garden with a fountain and a rooftop terrace with panoramic views of Antigua Guatemala and the surrounding volcanoes. Antigua’s Central Park is a 2-minute walk away. Each bright room at the San Vicente is decorated with handmade Guatemalan furniture and textiles. All rooms include free Wi-Fi, cable TV, free purified water and a private bathroom. The Posada has a shared kitchen and a breakfast room. The bilingual reception staff can provide city information and arrange Spanish lessons, excursions and airport transfers on request. Posada San Vicente is within a 5-minute walk of Antigua Cathedral and many beautiful colonial buildings. The surrounding streets are filled with museums, shops and restaurants. - terrific location, beautiful courtyard and balcony, many of the staff were welcoming and helpful, free wifi
- Staff! She was always very helpful and willing to go the extra mile to help us during our stay. She was wonderful qt giving tips for our stay and even helped interpret for us gringas. Very charming property.
Cons -
- Beds are hard as rocks, no explanation of any additional services, was changed additional fees with no clear explanation
- courtyard as a bit noisy, rooms were a bit tight
- The smell in the bathroom (kinda like urinal pucks). May need a different cleaning agent is all

It was close to the central plaza and the front desk staff were helpful. I wanted something simple, quiet and safe. They met all the criteria. They allowed us to leave our luggage in a storage room before our room was ready and after checkout.
