Hotel RC Ramon y Cajal

On the upper floor it was a clean room and comfortable but there was virtually no welcoming feeling from anyone. The location was OK but not that great. But not much you can expect at this price.

On my floor the technician came to look at the Wi-Fi which was not working properly and it turns out it works sometimes for android phones but it does not work for any Apple products. So I had to use my own data plan for Internet which was pretty expensive. So actually the room was not really a good deal.

Conveniently located near the bus station and close to where the bars and restaurants are. A bit far from the old town if that's what you intend to visit. Room was clean, with comfortable beds and working hot shower. Central heating worked like a charm too.

We chose this place because it provided a kitchen area that could be used by hosts so we brought our own food for breakfast. Kitchen wasn't available for no apparent reason so some food was wasted. Walls aren't properly isolated and we could hear our neighbors as if they were in the same room.

The staff took a long time to arrive to reception The noise coming from all places, bedrooms next door, hallway, heating or other structural building noise… Was very difficult to sleep every dayThe receptionist asked me to pay her more money that my booking was because she has confused about my residence and nationality, which stressed me out while trying to rest some days.

It was clean, warm, beds were comfortable

Car park couldn't be accessed by a normal sized car. We parked 10 minutes away in a real car park, it cost €19 for 1 night.

The host was incredibly helpful.The parking was very tough, very difficult, but the lady stayed with us going on the 3rd floor with small increments and she was very attentive that we do not scratch our car.It's a cheap and simple hotel, but again, a lot of appreciation to the host lady. Thank you for being very attentive and helpful!

The lady on reception was very helpful and kind assisting us with parking. For the price this is very good hotel with easy walking distance to the old town.

The property spell old and damp and there was hair on my bed, the sheets looked dirty

Parking!The steepness of the ramps and bad lighting in the multi storey were very difficult to negotiate on a motorcycle

Not really a hotel to me,no reception area where you could sit etc..You enter a door way down a long hall with a window to book in.Very noisy in the room anytime someone ran water etc you could hear it.

Harry at reception was very friendly and perfectly helpful. The room was very clean and pretty spacious.

After upgrading the room was ok

Small, claustrophobic room, inner building, filthy view, after upgrade to an apartment, experience was ok.

Great staff, very helpful. Great little apartment. Close enough to walk to all sites. Convenient for cafes and shops.

Very friendly staff, tried hard to tell everything even though just with limited English. Both rooms are ensuites. Cheap parking (though the parking is like a driving skill exam)

Lights in the sitting room and bed rooms are too dim. Just the toilets are bright enough. The sink is not with drainer, need to keep on absorbing water from time to time.

Good location for the old town. Big room, bathroom, quiet. Covered secure parking for 5€ good value.

It was horrible, the aircondition was not working, then they gave us a other room, but in that room we only had ice cold water from shower.We also damaged (small scratches) our car with there incredible small parking garage, pretty impossible for medium / large cars.It was the most horrible hotel of our 3 weeks trip in spain!
