Hotel Belsol

Room and bathroom were very clean, beds comfortable, AC and heaters working well. Good location with nice view. Very kind and helpful stuff.

Well located to visit Belmonte and other places around serra da estrela.Staff is very friendly and helpfullBreakfast is ok for a 3 star hotel, served in a panoramic room with fantastic views over the valley and montains

The hotel is very well mantained, we can see they used quality appliances, furniture, even dishes which means they last long years, the drawback is that they make the hotel a bit dated/aged.

Overall enjoyed our stay here - free parking and the hotel is very clean and comfortable with some lovely views of the surrounding area.Pool area also very nice. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Good choice for breakfast

We ate here in the evening and found a good choice of food but found some of the dishes were too oily for our taste

The friendliness of the host, the room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast had everything you needed for a pleasant meal. We also liked the restaurant and the pool.

Nothing to point out

Firstly we appreciated a friendly welcome coupled with a room upgrade. We were also very grateful with the host's explanation of the wines and meal available.

The hotel is old fashioned but all lovely and clean. For me it was like stepping back in time to a hotel in spain I used to stay in with my parents. The guy in reception who I later found out was the owner was a really nice helpful chap. Motorbikes were safe in the car park

Excellent all around, friendly staff, great service and lovely food.

A lovely hotel with really nice friendly staff. We had an excellent evening meal and breakfast was included. When we checked in we were given a room upgrade with a fabulous view from the balcony. The room was spotless. The real bonus was a swimming pool outside near our room.

Very dated, strange smell in the room… no vegetarian options on the menu . Ordered a salad and got boiled vegetables! Breakfast ok

Love the views and the aesthetics of the hotel, it was old fashioned and comfortable. Customer service was amazing. Lovely panoramic view at the restaurant with great food. Has swimming pools and near by there is natural river so lots to do.

Very dated.

The beds were uncomfortable and pillows also,no fridge .Dining room had AC switched off at breakfast it was a very hot day and my yogurt was off , we couldn’t had ham because I was concerned about the heat in the dining room.

Location, the overall cleanliness of the hotel and facilities. The gentleman on reception went above and beyond.

A little balcony, and a nice view.Historic Belmont nearby (Beautiful, though a twenty-five-minute steep walk uphill) Breakfast (included) was OK - the basics.There was a pool.Dinner was quite good, and inexpensive.Staff were efficent and friendly: reception, and our waitress for dinner
