LOVELY STAFF, CONVENIENT LOCATION, SECURE PARKING

Booked this for our stop over towards Bilbao.Picked it as it included breakfast and pets were free and for just €77. The room although old had some great modern updates. Which added character.The staff were amazing and welcoming. We had the menu del dia and it was really good.Definitely on the stop over list.

Only thing was the bathroom was awkward to use.With the shower glass and the bidet where they were it was awkward to get over the bath. Could do with a handle.

Comfortable beds, easy access to motorway and good value menu of the day. Staff friendly and helpful. Very clean. Extremely good value for money.

No tea and coffee in room

decent rooms, nothing special. close to the highway so good for a stopover during a roadtrip. town center is within walking distance if you want to go to a bar for a drink (there is also a bar downstairs in the hotel but it's not very cozy).

double bed is quite small, if you want some space it's better to book twin beds.

The rooms and the beds are big, it's very nice and spacious there, you have the AC which is a must in the summer in Spain. Beds are very comfy. Good wifi.

The building and the hotel itself is quite old. Parking is not easy to reach – if you go from hotel side, the way down is very steep, and from the gate side, it's so bumpy if you have a low car you can really scratch that bottom.

Secure storage for our bicycles. Superbly responsive and efficient housekeeping staff. Reception staff also were gracious and helpful

No wifi at all in our 8th floor room and almost no wifi even in common area by reception.

The staff was friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The dinner at the restaurant was very good.

no place allowed for dogs in the restaurant making it a bit complicated for the dinner time.

Evening meal poor. Stale bread.Good nit if a good standard though tge wine was good which came with the meal

Even though some rooms are a little dated, rooms are clean and have a little balcony.

Ideal position, easy to find. Breakfast basic, room very comfortable. Lovely view of river/town from room

Check in was slow, reception maned by only 1 person, who was very hard working, but with a very large queue of people checking in.

The room was adequate, clean and in good condition. There was no extra charge for dogs.

The overflow car park was in poor condition and did not look secure, as was difficult to pull the suitcase across the rough ground.I had asked in advance for a ground floor room and they responded that it was no problem then allocated a 3 floor room. I complained at the time that they had a communication issue, but they said they were putting the matter right by allocating a 1st floor room. This was fine.

Dinner in the restaurant was very good.The waiter was excellent.The receptionist was also very friendly and helpful3 star facilities with 5 star service.thankyou.excellent hotel for a stopover.

Stairway filthy hadnt been swept/hoovered in a while from ground to 3rd floor. Hotel had standard save water blurb save the planet etc. Then the heating was on to the point that we had to use air con as not possible to turn off, the bathroom floor was so hot had to have 3 layers of towel or shoes to stop feet burning.

Room had a bath, great hot water. Menu Del Dia was excellent value. Reception staff were friendly and very helpful. No additional cost for parking/dogs.

Breakfast choice was very poor. Quite dirty around hotel entrance. Hotel furniture in need of some updating, but was good value.

It would appear that someone came into our room during the night. I was woken up and put on the light and the next thing I heard was the door slamming. I always make sure the door is properly locked before turning off the light.

Wonderful staff, helpful, welcoming and they care about their clients.

The room was a little cold and the shower did not work so well.
