Hotel Englhof

The hotel was very close to the Town center and had an excellent bar, with the largest selection of wiskeys in Austria. The owner was also one of the bar tenderers, and was superb at making us special cocktails tailored to our tastes.

Perfect location, with amazing view to the area. Half pension food was excellent, very nice service. We were very satisfied during our whole stay.

I have just spent a week at Englhof Hotel, and have to admit that it exceeded all my expectations.Every member of the staff was friendly, welcoming and comitted to provide an exceptional service.The room was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, ensuring a very comfortable stay. The view from the balcony was special, having the Ziller river in front of us, and the Alps in sight.The food was absolutely delicious - every meal felt like a gourmet experience. And to top it all off, the cocktail bar was a real highlight. With expertly crafted drinks (lots of awards received ?) and a cozy lounge area, it was the perfect spot to unwind after a day of skiing/snowboarding.Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a blend of luxury and comfort! We’ll definitely be back ?

Staff and breakfast excellent. Location perfect for town.

Due to very hot weather, had to keep window open as not air conditioning and consequently quite noisy outside.

This is a charming hotel that feels nostalgic. The rooms were not huge but very nicely furnished with pine and thematic photographs that evoked the spirit of the mountains. The hotel is in a superb location in the heart of Zell am Ziller. The Restaurant and team within it were outstanding. The food and service were exceptional.

It was very hot when we were there meant the lack of fans or aircon in the rooms did make it difficult to sleep. If climate control in the room had been available this hotel would be a ten - as everything else was excellent.

The Englhof Hotel is a beautiful family-run establishment with a long-standing history. The building itself is stunning, centrally located in Zell am Ziller, yet slightly off the main drag which ensures a peaceful ambiance. The staff is incredibly friendly and truly understands what it means to be a gracious host. They cater to guests on an individual basis, offering suggestions on places to visit and where to dine. The rooms are spacious and well-maintained. The hotel is immaculate and well-cared for. Within the hotel is a spa featuring four saunas and a relaxation room with mountain views.A special mention must be made for the bar, which offers exquisite cocktails. It stands as the best of its kind in Austria, a claim backed by numerous awards. The drinks are delicious and reasonably priced. The hotel's restaurant is outstanding, showcasing excellent Austrian cuisine. They had no issues accommodating a vegetarian option. I highly recommend this hotel and eagerly anticipate my return.

The street noise with the open windows in summer can be annoying. Flies everywhere in the restaurant.

The stuff is incredibly helpful and friendly! Delicious breakfast and great big rooms with a mountain and river view. We were three people and our room had two bathrooms, which was great. We stayed for one night, but we wish we could stay longer, as everything was perfect. They have spa area as well, but unfortunately we arrived pretty late and could not use it. Would like to be back!
