    Pros +

    • This property was in a beautiful location. Picture perfect scenery and adorable little courtyard to enjoy the area. The castle ruins were neat and so was the chapel. The room was basic but comfortable. This would be a good place for a religious retreat or reset.
    • Great breakfast, lovely staff and a beautiful location. The room was clean and compact.
    • Beautiful location. Very friendly staff ! Extremly clean rooms. Regional food in the Restaurant, all on point!

    Cons -

    • We didn’t realize how remote the location was (our fault) and we rode our bikes up the steep hill and realized once we got there that there wasn’t anywhere to eat as the hotel restaurant was closed. We were too tired to travel 30 min back down to town. Bring snacks if you are checking in late! The remote location definitely wasn’t a bad thing, as it adds to the charm. You just need to be prepared.
    • The room could’ve been a little warmer.
    • Parking was a mess due to an ongoing wedding party.

Very clean, quiet and an excellent breakfast.

The location is high up on the valley and therefore it is quiet and peaceful. A food place to wind down and relax or do some hiking.

Parking was a mess due to an ongoing wedding party.

The property is in a very nice area between mountains. The restaurant is very good. It was warm and cozy. My room was really good.

The only thing that I would change is that my bed was adjacent to a wall and made it a little bit uncomfortable.

Amazing location, very friendly staff, great food. Fantastic value for money

I came by bike after having crossed Timmelsjoch on that day. The short but very strep climb from the Inntal to Kronburg (some 180 meters of climbing on 2km) almost killed me. But it’s worth it - i‘ll be back!

The location is amazing. Breakfast was very good.

No refrigerator or minibar in the room

I only speak English but was extremely welcomed by all the workers. One of the workers (Bibi) was incredibly nice and even reserved a table for me in the dining room, even though I never asked her too. Very beautiful location and the place is well taken care of. Nice and quiet for a getaway weekend.

Wifi was not amazing in my room, but fine in the main building.

A lovely quiet spot up the mountain side. We had a family room which was very spacious and clean. Great communication throughout the booking and out of hours check in was simple.

The breakfast was tasty. The room was simple but clean and had what I needed. The price was right. It's run by nuns and had the feel of a retreat center. The mountain view was awesome and there are walking paths that lead past a waterfall (spring). My room was quiet.

I liked everything. It is up a mountain road.

It’s a great hideout location. Very peaceful atmosphere. And beautiful spot for enjoying the sunset.

The last few km of road to the hotel is narrow winding road. Unfortunately, there was road work going on. If you are under time pressure, then the location is not your best choice. Remote location also means that stores are a drive away. You must be prepared. Especially don’t come back empty stomach when restaurant is closed - Mondays and Tuesdays.

Too much to mention. Everything had character. Everything was spotless. Staff exceptional. Location fantastic. Soooo quiet exactly what we needed.

That we didn’t stay there long enough

    1. absolutely stunning setting. 2. the accommodation was modern and simple but very comfortable. Great Breakfast

    1. We were on Motor Bikes having travelled 500 kms that day and found the climb through switchbacks very irksome.

    10OliverPosted on: 6-25-2023

Breakfast was very good, very nice quiet location, plenty of space to park motorcycles. Room clean and tidy.

    8JeffreyPosted on: 6-9-2023

Beautiful location and scenery.Garage for the motorcycle.Great breakfast.

Dinner seemed very expensive in the restaurant.

Amazing location! Very friendly staff! Delicious ice cream =)Great communication through booking.com. Quick and detailed answers to all questions. The hotel is very bicycle friendly. There is a lockable convenient ski/bike room. A very vigilant nun looks after the bike room and its visitors! Thanks a lot for that! =)
