Arca Nova Guest House - Caminha

The location was excellent- right across from the train . The staff was very pleasant and accommodating .

The front desk staff was very friendly and it was in a good location, near a lot of restaurants.

The place was a little more worn than appears in the photos, but still clean.

The laundry on site and the foot bath in the lobby. They also had an easy process for the water taxi in the mornings.

Reception desk was super helpful! They had a salt foot soaking station. Place was clean and comfortable.

Room had a great balcony and view, small bathroom with all you need, comfy bed and it was warm.

A bit noisy from some alarms outside during the night

We were able to get a room with a private bathroom. The location was close to the central square.

It was noisy and the bed was not very comfortable.

It’s a perfect spot to stop in Caminha! Staff is very friendly and they have lots of extras like massage that was very good! I highly recommend this stop on your Camino!

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The facilities are very clean and it is nicely decorated. Seems like they recently remodeled. The bathroom fixtures are upgraded. Very clean bathroom, no signs of mildew or mold. The sliding door completely kept the street noise out of our room. The A/C worked really well.

Promised breakfast included did not happen, staff nevet showed up.

Front lobby, not pretty. Kitchen smells greet you at the front door. The room was clean, yet I was apprehensive. It was chaos at the front desk when I checked in. What I did like was the free taxi in the morning that brings you to a boat, 6 Euro, that ferries you to Spain to transport you to Spain.

I worried about bed bugs but I didn't need to.

The location was good and the man who helped with check in and check out was lovely

It was dirty and not maintained.

Perfect for El Camino, it was very close to the rode. From there we made 5 minutes walking to the boat place.We booked the double room and it was very comfy. The breakfast was also really good with a lot of food!
