Hotel Loiola

The room was clean and the breakfast was good!

No air conditioning. Had to sleep with the windows open and had to deal with the noise of the cars and the sun light in the morning..

The location to the Loiola Sanctuary. Room was clean and staff helpful.

Upon arriving to my room, I did not find operational directions for the ceiling fan (so necessary for the current heat wave). The refrigerator was warm and the hairdryer was not operable.However, upon contacting the staff with my concerns, all issues were resolved.

The staff at the front desk was very welcoming and happy to engage and provide extensive suggestions on where to go for dinner and what to do around.The hotel is perfectly at walking distance from the center.The room was very spacious and I was pleased to find it offered a fridge.There were plenty of parking places around the hotel, making it convenient for visitors arriving by car

The room temperature was a bit too high and as it has no air conditioning, the only way to bring down the temperature was to leave the window open, which meant I had to accept the street noise - noticeable but not too much.The part that was really not nice was the bed mattress that was too soft and already a bit out of shape with the center deeper than the edges.The bathroom was a bit outdated and the cleanliness was no more than passable.

The staff was lovely. Great location and a lovely big comfortable bed. Everything was so clean. The restaurant in the hotel was lovely too! Great place to stay.

We couldn't work the shutters for the windows properly but I was honestly the only thing!

Great location… midway between the Basilica and the town. The rooms are spacious and clean, had a gorgeous mountain view.

Simple, clean, quiet place. Perfect to get to to the Santuary and also discover Azpeitia.

It is really nice hotel. All is very good and staff is really kindly and helpful. Even we want to hiking to Sant Ignacio hill which is 2-3 hours walking from hotel. Owners help us to find correct mountain patch to go there.There is restaurant on the place, also during lunch time there is daily menu. Perfect food and perfect staff:)Thank you very much for kindly hospitality
