The hotel is incredible. Like a fairy tale place in a gorgeous location Love the wood interior, loved the stairs upstairs and the cat asleep on the chair. The salad and meal were the absolute best! Staff at the property were very friendly and welcoming, loved the staff throughout the hotel.

Good location in the nice village of Oberwolfach. All is very clean, friendly hosts and staff. We also had dinner in the restaurant: excellent food, 3 different meals and a starter, all very tasty and good quality. Good and solid breakfast, nothing fancy, but all you need.

Such a beautiful hotel in a wonderful town. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I was traveling by myself on a motorcycle and they even offered to let me keep the bike under the covered area. Large room, fantastic restaurant and bar!

The hotel has a family feel to it, cat sleeping in the restaurant and a nice friendly team running it. The restaurant was really nice and felt traditional. Good value for money and great view of the black forest. A short easy drive to Wolfach which is the nearest town with shops and restaurants etc.

The friendliness of the personnel and the food and bar. It’s a typical family hotel and they really know how to cook. It’s a small card with fresh ingredients and that’s really nice. The bar is also nice to sit at. Everyone was super friendly

The rooms were a bit hot and I always forget to bring shampoo and that wasn’t available

It’s located in a very nice town with countryside view. A stream in the front and mountain view on the other side

Facilities can be improved a bit. People arrive later need to be mindful of restaurants closing before 9pm.

The location is excellent in a beautiful town / village that is not touristy.The hotel interiors were very nice and the rooms were very comfortable and large.The breakfast was good.The dinner was very good!

The rooms need Tea / coffee makers.The low, sloped ceiling in one of the rooms.

The hotel is a classic family run Black Forest hotel. It’s clean, comfortable and well situated for exploring the northern Black Forest.The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming and the hotel’s restaurant serves fantastic food and homemade schnapps.

Cute black forest hotel in the small village of Oberwolfach. Owned and run by a family. The hotel is nice quality and has a very good restaurant on the ground floor which serves excellent food at reasonable prices.

Despite the restaurant being very good, breakfast is poor with just a small selection of cereals and milk plus some bread cheese and ham. No hot food, not even a toaster for the bread. Rooms do not have any kettle or tea and coffee making facilities although coffee is available in the bar area during the day.Our room didn't have any soap in the bathroom and despite repeated requests took two days to be supplied.

Location is great, staff was helpful. Hotel is quiet and our room, sizewise , was good.

Physically the rooms are older and especially considering the quietness of the little towns, mini refrigirator would be a very good addition.

The people that run the place we're very rude and it felt like you were an inconvenience to them the breakfast left alot to be desired anddthe prices for the food in the restaurant was extortionate the fire instructions and any information was al in German no English what so ever

clean room, well located, good size car park, breakfast was good

we were told the wrong times for dinner in the restaurant, and the information sheet said the restaurant closes at 10pm, we went at 9pm and was told the kitchen closed at 8.30pm.

Lovely room , good parking , elevator and evening meal with outside seating for a good price !The choice of non-meat food and wines was kind of limited for a long vacation but okay for a short stay .

Located in a small town of black forest and the views from the room were very beautiful. Rooms were cleaned every day and the entire hotel staff is very polite and helpful. Speaks English, which was a plus for us. Good hiking trails nearby. I would recommend.
