Clean hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. They even pick you from the train station. Food in the restaurant and bistro is excellent.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff, very good breakfast, no buffet but food served to order and to a very high standard and (impressively) breakfast served till 14.00... Location is great on main but quiet street, 5 mins from beach and plenty of shops and boutiques around, short walk from train station but hotel offered (complimentary) lift from there and back again. We ate dinner in restaurant 2 nights and the set meal was very good at about €100+ each. They've got a nice quiet lounge in addition to the bar, good place to take our evening coffee

The hospitality was extraordinary. The hotel is very comfortable and my sweet was serene and quiet. The pool and steam/sauna were beautiful. The location is central and convenient.

Did only have one breakfast at the hotel - prefer light breakfast and then lunch when out of season as for the time being. Location great. Our goal was to visit entire island and we did.

It’s a beautiful building from the late 1800s , which is very cool design and comfort. Has great facilities and the bar is top class.

Staff was really attentive and caring. Highly appreciated. Situated right in the center of Westerland, the hotel serves as a perfect base for any excursion - in our case it was Syltlauf, the local mid distance race. Rooms were nice, and the beds comfy!

- Excellent location in Westerland and to explore all parts of the island- Spacious rooms - Authentic and neat vintage interior as well as beautiful, charming decor- The SPA (modern and quiet with all necessary amenities)- Delicious breakfast with great choice à la carte- Last but not least, a very professional and pleasant staff at the reception with outstanding recommendations concerning nearby sophisticated restaurants and bars (many thanks, Elena again! It was lovely!)

- Room service: A five star hotel should have the (international) standard of two services per day- Quietness: There was a major building site close to the wing of the hotel where the room was located. During weekdays the "wake up service" was guaranteed right at 7am by the buzz saws and noise of percussion drills- Breakfast processes: Sometimes quite hectic and lacking coordination (but the staff always had a smile on their faces)
