It was loud in the early morning while people checking out. The room doors do not close out the noice.

Very friendly and competent staff. Great location. Breakfast was average but they start at 7am which is nice - most hotels start at 8am which is late for me (but the breakfast at 7 is only nice as long as you don't have room 26 which I had). This was my 2nd stay at this hotel - the previous one was in winter and I had a better room then.

Room 26 is the most obnoxious room I have ever had. It is located literally 1m from the breakfast buffet (you have to walk along the buffet to get to room 26) and the wall behind the bed is the kitchen wall. Even though I slept with my Soundcore sleep A10 earbuds, I got woken up on 4 out of my 6 nights around 6am (sometimes 5:40).

Located on the main pedestrian street & less than 5mins walk from station, the entrance is easy to miss. Once inside, room was comfortable with opening windows, fridge, kettle & spacious en-suite. My room was looking onto the main street and I never really heard much noise.

Breakfast was good but could have done with a bit more variety.

The location is central and it is easy to walk to the hotel from the train station. It is very close to the beach. The breakfast was good and plentiful. The staff seemed nice, though I didn’t have much interaction with the staff other than at breakfast.

Great location, friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed, very convenient location if you arrive by train.

Room and bathroom were small. I thoughts of them as cozy, but maybe not for everyone.

The hotel is very clean, central, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. It is close to the beach, restaurants and shops. Top location!

Location and comfy bed. Big room

It was too warm inside (like not normal) and we had birds screaming just outside our window. They woke us up many times bc they live and protect their children on this roof.

It was quite hard to find as the signage is quite inconspicious

The pillow was quite different to what I am used to. At breakfast I was not told that I can order items not on the display, eg fried eggs.

Cleanliness and location

Reception staff wasn’t able to communicate properly in any language. When we checked in, the receptionist gave us a beach card per person and said this is for all guests for free entry to the beach. However, at checkout the other receptionist asked us to pay 4€ each for the beach cards. We told her that her colleague toldus that these were complimentary but she was unable to communicate with us (We tried to speak both German and English with her). Also, no one checked the beach cards. Please check if any beach card is needed before accepting them from the hotel. Furthermore, our room was really small and it’s not couple friendly. We specifically asked for a double bed, but they gave us the room with twin beds.

Central location quiet room, good value

Good location not far from both train station and beach, friendly and helpful staff.

Stairs, because lift has been refused due to "old building/ heritage". And also, Sylt is too expensive for what itoffers in general.

Excellent location, nice smiling receptionist, nice breakfast

Overall the hotel is in a great location within quick walking distance to train station and beach right in the center of the town. The breakfast was pretty decent. The rooms were also fine.

WiFi was a complete disaster. The hotel has dead spots and we could not pick up the WiFi signal in the room. It worked in the hallway and the breakfast area, but it was really annoying that we could not get a signal in the room. We had to get out of the room to make Voip calls. The morning front desk attendant agreed that I can switch rooms after other guest moved out after lunch time. Unfortunately, the afternoon front desk attendant was unwilling or too lazy to switch us around. She instead recommended that we should stay the next time at another hotel.

On the main street close to the beach, pubs and restaurants.

The seagulls were a bit noisy but nothing to do about it in a coastal town.

no parking, no elevator, walked quite far to parked car somewhere in town. Did not know hotel was in a pedestrian area only downtown. Very inconvenient for people in their eighties like my brother and me!
